THE GOODNIGHT CIRCUS (US, ES, SE)

The Goodnight Circus, who's multi-national members hail from the US, Spain, and Sweden, formed in
2010 in Berlin, playing underground clubs and lindy-hop dance parties, and filling the streets of Berlin
with Hot Jazz. Since then they have played some of the best clubs in Berlin (Bassy, Kaffe Burger,
Festsaal Kreuzberg, Astra Kulturhaus), local street and jazz festivals (Bergmanstr. Jazz Fest), and
countless weddings. They have toured Switzerland 4 times, playing the acclaimed Wintertur Musikfest
Wochen Festival, as well as the legendary Moods Jazz Club in Zurich, among many other clubs.
Having been as far away as the Atlantic coast in France (Good Time Jazz Fest), they have recently
begun touring in Germany; this spring they are planning a tour through Germany, Switzerland, and
France.
The Goodnight Circus was raised in the New Orleans Jazz, Ragtime Revival of Berin 2010, mixing the
sound of 1930s berlin with its current immigrant population- blending dixie-land jazz, punk rock,
turkish, greek and southern-european styles.
