Make a Call
1. Enter the IP number of the person
you are calling using the number
keys on the remote control
2. There is a bu>on for typing a dot
just above the number 3 on the
remote control
3. When you have entered the
number, press the green Call/
Hang-­‐up bu>on at the top of the
remote control

3.Select the first opHon and press
the green Call/Hang up bu>on to
end the video conference

Connect the LAN cable to
the orange LAN jack on the
le@ side of the back panel.
Plug the other end of the
LAN cable into an Internet
jack in the conference
room.

Connect the red and white
audio cables to the red and
white audio jacks on the
right side of the back panel.
Use the bo9om pair as
highlighted. Plug the other
end of the cables into the
red and white audio-­‐in
jacks on the television.

Troubleshoo,ng
1. Ensure the power cable is plugged
in and the device is turned on
2. Ensure the cables are setup
correctly (previous slides)
No Image on the TV
3. The most likely cause is that the
television is not set to the right
channel. Most modern televisions
have mulHple inputs and you must
select the right one: Look through the TV Inputs and find the right one.

Troubleshoo,ng
The Polycom seems to be frozen.
Turn the Polycom off by using the power switch located right hand side of the back panel wait 30 seconds and turn it on.
The Polycom is not making or receiving calls
Make sure the Ethernet cable is connected and that the lights on the back of the connector are blinking.
Slow blinking green light appears on the front of the ViewStaKon. No sound at all

The system is in sleep mode. This is normal. The system wakes up on any acKon from the remote control or on an incoming all. Check that the volumes are turned up on the TV as well as on the Polycom. (Volume can be turned up from the remote control for each device)

*If “My IP:” field is 0.0.0.0.0
Check Ethernet cable on the back panel and see if it blinks when cable is plugged in. If it doesn’t call IFAS. (bad network card)
If “My IP” is 0.0.0.0.0. Polycom
Is not connected to the internet
