The month of July there is no meeting.
We would like to congratulate the newly elected Massachusetts State President Jackie Fortier from Tewksbury/
Wilmington Emblem Club. Jackie was installed on Saturday night, June 6th at the MSAEC State Convention.
July 19, 2015, the MSAEC State Outing, to honor the new
State President Jackie, will be held at Tewksbury/
Wilmington Lodge of Elks from noon to 4:00 p.m. Tickets

The lodge is in dire need of help for Bingo on Tuesday
nights. Bingo is looking for a few people to come down
and help the Lodge with its biggest fundraiser. We are
looking for help selling the following:
Refreshments from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m
Strips from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.
Pull-tabs from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m
Call winners back from 6:00 - 10:00 p.m.
ENTERTAINMENT COMMITTEE
The entertainment committee will be meeting every month
at 6:00 p.m. on the same night as the Governing Body
meeting. This meeting usually is the second Wednesday of
every month.
All members are welcome. Come and bring some new
ideas.

On Thursday, August 6, 2015 the Lodge will again pro-

TRAVELING VIETNAM VETERANS MEMORIAL WALL

VA Hospital.
Beginning at noon, a meal will be served to the veterans
and then there will be singing and Bingo. This is a rare
opportunity for the veterans to leave their hospital rooms
and enjoy the pleasures of our grove. If you want a fulfilling afternoon join us on this day.

The City of Gloucester will be hosting “The Traveling Vietnam Veterans
Memorial Wall and Museum” in July. The wall arrived on July 7, 2015,
set up on July 8, 2015 and open to the public July 9 - July 12, 2015.
The lodge will have a bus trip to visit the wall on Saturday, July 11, 2015.
The bus will leave the lodge at 9:00 a.m. The cost is $22 per person and a
light lunch will be provided at the Gloucester Elks. If you are interested
or have any question, please contact Ray Metcalfe.

ELKS 2070 GOING GREEN
FOOD PANTRY
The Tewksbury and Wilmington
food pantry supply food products on a
bimonthly basis, helping those in need
of assistance (especially around the
holidays). It is not uncommon to find people needing emergency food
assistance who never could have imagined they'd be in that situation.
The Lodge has a basket with a list of items that are need by both pantries.
Let’s show the communities that we live in that:

MEAT RAFFLE - HERE FOR BEER
EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT
6:00 P.M.
Stu Jr is going to have a Here For The Beer
raffle on the last $5 ticket for the meat raffle.
After they draw the winner for the meat, there will be
another drawing for a case of beer or a lower priced bottle of liquor, but
you must be there to collect this. If a ticket is drawn and the person is not
there, another ticket will be drawn etc. until they have a winner.
