we went into the park and handed out

went to the beach for a service and baptism. Then Thursday we finally took a
break from work and went into the city
for the whole day. On Friday we went
back to the church to finish up and worked
up until 4pm, even though we had a flight

2nd Annual ‘Undie’ Sunday - August 14 and 21
Undie Sunday is an attempt to meet one of the great needs of foster families!
Many local and state Christian ministries seek to 'undergird' (pun intended) the
work of Christian foster families across our tri-county area of Manatee, Sarasota
and Desoto counties. We are asking every member or friend of FirstSarasota who
attends worship on August 14 or 21 to bring a set of newly packaged underwear
for any child, male or female, ages three to eighteen and place them in our
collection bins at the entrances to our church campus. For more information
please contact our Missions Pastor, Paul Helton at 941-365-2846.
