Vol. 79 #29 08/07/2016 Last week I traveled to New York with seven students and two other leaders to serve at Discover Church. About three years ago FirstSarasota came along side Jason Jasper and his wife, Jerri, to help them plant Discover Church in a small town on Long Island called Kings Park. hang out with their teens, Tuesday night we went into the park and handed out water bottles and Wednesday night we went to the beach for a service and baptism. Then Thursday we finally took a break from work and went into the city for the whole day. On Friday we went back to the church to finish up and worked up until 4pm, even though we had a flight at 6:30pm. Preparations are underway for the 43rd Annual Singing Christmas Tree!
