ECHL Mobile App now available
PRINCETON, N.J. – The ECHL continues its great relationship with NewSport Media, long-time
supplier of real time stats and scoring, for the 2011-12 season. This season brings back all of the
great web site features from last year, plus a great new look for the home page and the League’s first
ever Mobile App.
“For the past five years, we've been happy to provide the ECHL with LeagueStat.com, our real time
stats and scoring software. In 2010, we launched the new ECHL.com, a fully integrated stats and
content web site plus a great mobile site to keep fans in the know when they can't get to their desktop
computers”, said Cary Moretti, President and CEO of NewSport Media. “For 2011-12, we wanted to
do more with the ECHL and are happy to announce the release of the new ECHL Mobile App this fall.
The App will include all of the real time scores, stats, and standings fans have come to rely on from
directly from LeagueStat.com plus all the news direct from the ECHL.”
The ECHL Mobile App is now available for download for both Android and iPhone. In addition to news,
scores and stats, the App also has links to the ECHL’s Twitter and Facebook pages, and also allows
fans to easily upload their fan photos to Facebook for consideration for the ECHL Fan Photo on
ECHL.com. The ECHL App (available now for iOS and coming soon to Android) includes menu
customization. Now you can decide which buttons you want to display and the order to display them
in. Make the ECHL App all your own and get to the stats you want even faster.
NewSport Media, a boutique web development firm, has been providing web sites since 1997 and
boasts a client list that includes the ECHL, AHL, and all three of the Canadian Junior Hockey leagues.
Their development team consists of a dedicated group of experts who live and work in the sports field.
At the forefront of NewSport Media's solutions is LeagueStat.com, a real time scoring and statistics
tool for Hockey, Lacrosse, and, new for 2011, Football. For more information about NewSport Media,
