The Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and
Refugee Rights (ICIRR) is the largest
immigrant rights coalition in Illinois.
As an ICIRR member, you will:
 Lead the fight for immigrant justice
 Shape immigrant strategy and
policy through organizing,
advocacy, and research at the
state and national level
 Build power with immigrants,
refugees, and their families across
Illinois
Membership Benefits:
As an organizational member, you will

 Vote and decide ICIRR’s agenda
 Have direct access to staff in the
areas of back office support,
community organizing, programming,
and policy
 Receive weekly member updates
regarding political actions, trainings,
and other developments

Membership dues help support ICIRR
pay for the subsidizing of buses to
Springfield and D.C., food and space
for meetings and retreats, and
general member support.

In partnership with our member organizations, the Coalition
educates and organizes immigrant and refugee communities to
assert their rights; promotes citizenship and civic participation;
monitors, analyzes, and advocates on immigrant-related issues;
and, informs the general public about the contributions of
immigrants and refugees.
Request for Fee Waiver: In the cases where a nonprofit organization cannot pay the membership
fee they will be able to apply for a waiver request.
Organization that received a waiver in 2016 MUST
contribute something this year. Please submit a
brief letter explaining your organization’s
circumstances with the membership application.
