Guinness attends a one year art foundation course.
1989
Lulu Guinness starts her own business from the basement of her
house and Lulu Guinness, the brand, is born.
2006
Lulu Guinness is awarded an OBE from the Queen.

2009
Lulu Guinness receives the independent handbag designer awards
iconoclast award for lifetime achievement in handbag design.
2011
Lulu Guinness opens a store at Mayfair’s historical Burlington Arcade.
2012
Lulu Guinness is awarded an honorary doctorate by The University of
