WITLEY COURT and GARDENS GREAT WITLEY CHURCH
Civic Society Summer Trip WITLEY COURT and GARDENS and GREAT WITLEY CHURCH 7 June 2016 Coach leaves Parmoor House at 9.30 a.m. Back at about 5 p.m. Great Witley church (left) is Britain’s only baroque church, a style more usually associated with southern Germany. After a two course lunch at the garden cafe, members will be able to explore the ruins and gardens of Witley Court, once one of England’s great country houses (right, as it was in 1882), until a devastating fire in 1937 left it a spectacular ruin, now lovingly maintained by English Heritage. Join us for what promises to be an enjoyable and interesting day. Cost of the trip is £30 per person, which includes the coach costs, a two course lunch & entry fees. Please tick your lunch starter and main choices on the application form OVERLEAF. Please return the application form below to: Lesley Whittal, 10 Suffolk House West, Suffolk Square, Cheltenham GL50 2HR.
