Teenage Cancer Trust on Kilimanjaro
Climbing Kilimanjaro is more than just a trekking challenge. It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, which will
leave you with long lasting memories.
The beautiful Machame Route approaches Kilimanjaro from the south, and the six day trek starts in dense
tropical rainforest, before passing through some of the mountain’s best features – the Shira Plateau, the
infamous Barranco Wall, and scenic Karanga Valley on the way to the summit. As you make your approach
to the roof of Africa, where the summit sits at 5895 metres above sea level - you will be fully supported by a
qualified mountain leader, UK doctor and a team of experts to get you safely to the top and back down again!
