ZEE being a global entertainment conglomerate, interacting with diverse cultures and communities across the world, aiming to reach
1.2 billion viewers, needed a global brand statement, which starkly differentiates itself from the other global media brands and at the
same establishes a strong connect. Inspired with this thought, “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” – The World is My Family, is the new
positioning we thought would be most apt for Brand ZEE. Going forward you will see all our communication reinstating our global route.
ZEE has delivered a stellar performance till now in this year and we expect to end it on a high. We celebrated the completion of 20 years
of ZEE and received a slew of Brand awards and felicitations including the IMC Fusion 2013 Award for excellence in Media, 1st Runner-up
at the AIMA RK Swamy High Performance ‘Brand of the Year’ and recognition by the BSE on completion of 20 years – confirmation that
the ZEE is on its way to becoming an emerging market MNC.
ZEE continues to outperform its competition and the media industry. The growth in revenue can be attributed to increase in advertising
revenue and subscription revenue due to the impetus of the first phase of digitization. With the onset of the next phase in the coming
months we anticipate a further upside in the subscription revenue. Digitization will also see a spur in the launch of niche channels
catering awards targeted audiences. To be at the forefront of capturing such opportunities, ZEE launched ZEE Q, Indian’s first Edutainment
channel and a revamped ZEE Khana Khazana in the last quarter.
The KPMG report at FICCI Frames estimated the TV Broadcast Industry will grow at CAGR of 18% over 2012-17 to reach INR 848 Billion in
2017. ZEE on the other hand aims to double its revenue by 2020.

Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited was adjudged the 1st
runner up for the AIMA - RK Swamy High Performance Brand of
the Year, out of a total of 50 brands who were nominated for the
award category.

The award was introduced for the Brands and Business Assets to
be recognized for the financial impact they have created for their
owners and not for ephemeral reasons such as perception,
market buzz or feel good factors.

The AIMA – RK Swamy award follows a three step austere
method before a brand is declared a winner or is qualified to
enter the award category.

After creating a global footprint for the Indian film industry in
places like Macau, Singapore, London, Mauritius and Dubai,
the World's Biggest Viewers' Choice Awards, Zee Cine Awards
returned home to where it belongs...Mumbai.

The dazzling Bollywood awards night saw the biggest stars,
the brightest luminaries, the most talented personalities and
some scintillating performances which garnered an
impressive 3.5 TVR on telecast catapulting Zee TV to the No.1

Friday night of 1st February at The Mansion, Four Seasons, Mumbai, was a night to remember for the entire
Film, Television and Corporate World! ZEE celebrated its 20 years by hosting a Grand Party on this night.

The party which went on till the wee hours of the morning was attended by the who's who of the Film,
Television and Corporate world.

Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Karan Johar, Ajay Devgun and Kajol, were amongst the
many celebrities who graced the occasion. Corporate honchos like Mukesh Ambani, Subroto Roy Sahara ,Vijay
Mallya and Niranjan Hirnandani attended the party and enhanced the celebration by many folds.
