GUIDELINES FOR ADOPTING
If you have a yard it must be safe,
secure gate that small dogs can’t
squeeze through, tall enough fence
that larger dogs can’t jump over
BIANCA (F)
Bianca is a female Lab/Pit mix. She is 9
months old and weighs about 35
pounds. She loves people, kids, cats
and other dogs. She will sit for her
food and is house trained.
BROMEY (M)
Bromey is a Male 1 year old 53 lb.
Shepherd / Husky mix. He is house
trained. He loves all dogs and people.
Due to previous abuse, he has a plate
and rod in his back leg, but he doesn't
let it stop him!
Any dogs you currently have in your
home must be spayed or neutered.
(Spaying and neutering is
mandatory in Clark County.)
We will do a home check to verify
safety for dog, and to make sure our
dog gets along with any pets or
children in your home.
BENJI (M)
Benji is a Wheaton Terrier Mix, 5 years
old, about 35lbs. He is a sweet boy,
loves people and other dogs. We don’t
know about cats yet. He is house
trained, and uses the doggy door.

CAROB (F)
BRUCE (M)
Bruce is a BEAUTIFUL male white Shepherd is
about 10 years old and 80 pounds. Bruce's ideal
home would be a place where he looks after his
adult companions and showers them with his
loyalty and love. He would welcome other dogs
his size, he's housebroken and incredibly smart.
He has a heart of gold lots of love to give! Come
and meet Bruce - he just might be your perfect
match!
Carob is an extremely affectionate 3
year old 25 lb. female lab/dachshund
mix. She loves people and especially
loves kids. She would probably do
best as an only dog. She is very good
walking on leash.
ADOPT TOGETHER
CASPER (M) PUPPY(F)
Casper (front) is the daddy of Puppy
(rear). They are both friendly
Chihuahuas. Casper is 5 yrs. about
7lbs Puppy is 4 yrs. about 10 lbs. They
must be adopted together. They were
surrendered by and elderly owner who
was no longer able to care for them.
CHLOE (F)
Chloe is a sweet female Chihuahua mix,
with legs that run like the wind. She
weighs 8lbs and will be 4 years old in
November. She is friendly with people and
other dogs; we aren’t sure about cats and
children. She might need a refresher
course in house manners and training. She
rides well in the car and walks easily on her
leash. She enjoys playing in the dog park
and cuddling up for a nap afterwards.
CHANELE (F)
Chanele is a Female Terrier mix two years
old weighing 8 lbs. Owner could not care
for her.
CHUY(M)
Chuy is a male Chihuahua mix, about 1
year old. He is house and crate trained and
can use a large dog doggie door.
FROSTY (M)
Frosty is a Lhasa Apso mix, about 5 years
old, weighing 15 lbs. He is
housetrained. He gets along w/all
dogs but needs a home with no young
children.
CHICKY (F)
Chicky is a female Chihuahua mix. She is
1 1/2 years old, 9.2 lbs. She is friendly
with dogs, kids, and cats. She would
love to be a lap dog. Her owner
surrendered her so she is a bit confused.
DOUG (M)
Doug is a male Chihuahua mix, 1 ½
years old. He is friendly with dogs and
kids. We are still learning about him.
FLORA (M)
Flora is a shy girl, about 4 years old,
weighing 10 lbs. She is a
Chihuahua mix. She will take a
while to warm up, but is a lover
once she gets used to you.

HARLEY (M)
Harley is a male MinPin around 2 years
old, 18 lbs. He is very sweet, but isn’t
comfortable on a leash or in the car.
He was found running loose, so we
don’t know much about him yet.
Helen is a sweet little Chihuahua baby who was
found under a bush! She is 4 months old, and
unfortunately is currently blind. She may
eventually regain her sight, but in the meantime,
she will need a home where she will feel safe.
She loves to be held, and be hand fed. Are you
the person to give her the love and security she
needs.

JIMMY DEAN (M)
JD (M)
JD is a male Lab mix 5 years old, 52 lbs. He
is fun loving and happy go lucky but is
overprotective of his “private space”. He
will do best if he is not kenneled and needs
someone who will gently teach him to trust
humans and share the “den”. Although JD
loves to play with children, he should not
have to share a home with them due to his
overprotective nature. He is looking for a
very special person to share his exuberance
with and learn to trust.
Jimmy Dean is a dog of mystery. He
was found but never claimed by his
prior owners He's 2 years old and
weighs just 5 pounds. Appears to be
housetrained. He is a sweet boy, but a
bit shy at first. Once he feels
comfortable with you, he loves to have
his belly rubbed!
JASMINE (F)
Jasmine is a female Cocker mix, 3 years
2 months old, weighing 14 lbs. She is
timid at first, but bonds in about a week.
She is good with dogs and cats AND she
is house trained.
KASEY(F)
Kasey is a pretty little girl who is an
unusual mix. She's part Whippet and
part Chi and her unique look sets her
apart from the crowd. She was found as
a stray and now her life is going in the
right direction. All she needs is a loving
owner to give her a chance. She's 12
pounds, 2 years old and very friendly
with people and other dogs

Luke is around 3 years old – 14 lbs.
He is a Shih Tzu, and sweet boy. He
may need some work on his house
training. He gets along with people
and dogs. We don’t know about cats
yet.
Mater is a Male Pomeranian mix, 1 year old,
weighing 9 pounds. He is very loving and is
great with other dogs, kids and cats. Mostly
house trained. He enjoys running and
playing at the dog park, and does well
riding in the car.
Little Mia is about 10 pounds and 11
years old Shih Tzu and such a sweet girl.
She was turned in to a vet by her owner.
She is special needs dog as she is blind.
She is friendly but would do best with
adults only. Loves her walks, chews and
carrots
MITZY (F)
My dad passed away and I am a sweet
10 year old Pekingese gal that needs a
forever home. I was very much loved
and I so want that once again. Please
come meet me. I'm housebroken,
good with other dogs and cats, but not
with children
ONE-EYED JACK (M)
One-eyed Jack is a male, Chihuahua/beagle
mix. He is 2 ½ years old, 18.5 lbs. He is
friendly with dogs and kids. He is playful,
likes squeaky ball. He is curious about cats.
House trained. He was found as a stray.
OSCAR (M)
Oscar is a 10 year old 13 lb Chug. He is
energetic and playful and gets along with
other older dogs. He is housebroken and
crate trained. He prefers to spend his
days lounging in his crate and playing in
the backyard. He's not much for
cuddling, but will bring you much
happiness with his playful spunky spirit.
PACO (M)
This 6 year old, 12.5lbs white poodle is a
little shy at first introduction, but his
friendly personality soon shines through.
Gets along with other dogs, but cats and
children not known. Has been living in an
overcrowded home so might need
a refresher course in house manners and
training. Well behaved in the car and walks
easily on his leash. Enjoys his time in the
dog park, but the best time of all is cuddle
time.
PEGGY (F)
Peggy is a female Chihuahua mix 1 1/2
years old, weighing 9 pounds. She was
owner surrender, so is confused. She is
very sweet but timid at first.
SCRAPPY (M)
SONNY (M)
Scrappy is a male Chihuahua, 1 ½
years old. He is friendly with other
dogs, and kids. We are still learning
about him.
Sonny is a male, 1 year old Shih Tzu mix.
Found and never claimed. We are still
learning about him.
SARGE (M)
Sarge is a 4 year old. 26 lb. male puggle
(pug/beagle). He is a sweet boy, good
with other dogs and people (including
kids). He likes to play with toys and
might enjoy a romp in the park. He
walks really well on the leash. He is
house trained, and is learning to use the
doggy door.
SUMMER (F)
Summer is a 3 year old Chug
(Chihuahua/pug). She weighs about 12
lbs. She is great with people and other
dogs. She is housetrained. She is very
friendly, and likes to sit on your lap.

Tootles is a sleek, male Chiweenie, about 8
months old and 9.5lbs. He is friendly with
small dogs and loves romping in the dog
park. He also does get along with cats. He
would do best in an all woman household,
with no children under the age of 10 yrs.
He is a sweet, energetic little fellow, but will
need time spent on house manners and
training.
This handsome fellow is 10 years old,
about 40 lbs. He is a beagle mix. He is
good with other dogs, and with kids.
He’s a sweet boy whose owner died. He
is blind, but gets around quite nicely. He
needs a loving home where he will feel
safe.

YOYO (M)
Toro is a male Chihuahua mix about 8
lbs. 1 1/2 years old. He’s timid at first
but friendly. He is good with dogs, kids
and cats. He likes to romp and play
with other dogs.
Whitey, a Terrier mix is a sweet, loving guy,
around 6 years old and he weighs 10.5 lbs.
He LOVES to play, is great with other dogs
and kids. As far as we can tell he’s ok with
cats. He is good on leash, and loves his
treats!!
Yoyo is a male Chihuahua about 2 years
old, weighing 8 Lbs. He was found, and
we are still learning about him.
SPECIAL NEEDS
ADOPT TOGETHER
Teddy is a 4 year old 22 lb. Australian
Shepherd/Cocker mix. He is good with
other dogs, but we aren’t sure about
cats. He is shy, but sweet. We don’t
know yet how he is around kids.
ZEPHYR (M)
Zephyr is a Male Chi mix, 7 months
old, about 8.5 lbs. He likes to play
with other dogs. He is very Friendly,
and is OK with cats. He will need
training due to his age.
ZIVA (F)
Ziva is a sweetheart who was found on the
street. We believe she may be Shih Tzu
Mix. She is house trained, loves to sit on
your lap, and is a quiet dog! She seems to
be ok with other dogs, but we don’t know
about children or cats. We think she is 710 years old; she has arthritis, and is deaf.
She is a sweet girl who needs a good loving
home.
ZOEY(F) & ELMOE (M)
These Terrier mixes are brother and
sister. They are 5 years old, one male
(Elmoe) and one female (Zoey) and
weigh about 12 pounds. They are good
with people, Kids and Dogs. We don’t
know about cats yet. They are house
trained.
