The Programme was provided to us in 2009 by Frank Booth
(Student at the school 1942-47), who attended the Dinner. Frank
was playing at the the time for the Oldham H.S.O.B. Team, who
were runners-up that year in the 2nd Division.
(They were runners up, but they had the same number of points and a better
goal average and a better goal difference than the winners. We can only
conclude that the decision in those days was on either matches won or goalsfor)
