The Ottawa Dog Festival is an exciting event for area dog lovers, focused on showcasing a wide
selection of quality services and products. The festival features a number of activities that will
provide fun for everyone. Read on for more information.
Public Lure Course Trials
$6
Dog Lovers Days are providing a Lure Course. Your dog can try out this
frantic and fun event for $6 per course. Plus you can purchase a
souvenir photo of your champion mid-course for $20. Playful pups
love chasing the lure through the obstacles, tackling tubes, and
winding maze!

Come watch these amazing dogs run and leap as they entertain you in
a fast-paced show of flyball and disc dog. Wondering if your dog has
what it takes? Come speak with any team member following the
shows.
Ottawa Bark Camp - Demo Ring FREE
Improve communication with your dog! Working with
volunteers from the audience Ottawa Bark Camp will
demonstrate training techniques for skills such as:
Focus, Greeting Strangers, Sit/Stay, Heel and More!
Competition is $30, which includes practice all weekend. Register
with Rideau River Dock Dogs.
Try Dock Dogs
Ever thought your pup could fly? Think they have what it takes to
dock dive with the pros? For a $15 charitable donation you can try
the public waves… If you dog does well, you can even enter
competitive waves for an additional $15!

tricks that will thrill all audiences. The performance dogs have been
trained for years and on National Hug Day received 2 million YouTube
hits and recently were “liked” on Ellen DeGeneres Facebook page,
seen by over 300,000 followers.

the relaxation of muscles, stimulate circulation, and enhance the
