Speaker Profile
Su Tiang Joo
Mr Su Tiang Joo has more than 31 years of experience in civil
litigation and dispute resolution particularly in land based
disputes. He is the lead counsel in a number of land acquisition
cases such as those involving highways e.g. LDP, Kerinchi Link,
LEKAS, SILK, AKLEH and the on-going MRT project. He is also
the contributing author for the Malaysian chapter for the book
“Litigation & Dispute Resolution – First Edition” published by
Global Legal Group Ltd (UK) in 2012 as well as the Malaysian
chapter for the book “The Dispute Resolution Review – 6th Edition” published by Law
Business Research Ltd (UK) in 2014. Mr Su is a former board member of the
Advocates & Solicitors Disciplinary Board (2007 to 2011).
Pang Kong Leng
Mr Pang has more than 20 years of experience in
civil litigation. His practice areas include land,
contract, company and insurance. He is also the
author of the book "Legal Guide to Civil Appeals
Malaysia" published by CCH Asia Pte Ltd.

Cancellation Policy
Full payment of the amount shall be made within fourteen (14) days from the date of the
invoice issuance or on the event day, whichever earlier. Delegate(s) who will pay on the
event day will be required to submit a Letter of Undertaking beforehand.
If delegate(s) decide to cancel their enrollment, the following terms shall apply:
A confirmation email will be sent to each delegate after payment is processed by The
Malaysian Current Law Journal (CLJ). If you do not receive a confirmation one week
before the seminar, please call us at 03-4270 5400.
The Malaysian Current Law Journal reserves the right to cancel or postpone the seminar
due to unforeseen circumstances. Speakers and topics may be subject to change if
necessary.

Written cancellation received before 22 August 2016: A refund of 80% will be made.
Written cancellation received before 29 August 2016: A refund of 50% will be made.
Written cancellation after 29 August 2016: No refund will be entertained.
In the event of a no-show, delegates are still liable for the full seminar fees unless
cancellation is received by CLJ before the cut-off date above.
You may substitute an alternative delegate(s) by notifying CLJ at least 5 working days
before the event. Any differences in fees will be charged accordingly.
