Before being promoted to head coach, Holt spent the 2007-08 season as an
assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for the Rams. Holt came to Fort Collins
from Wichita State, where she was an assistant from 2003-07. Holt also served
on Lichonczak’s coaching staff at Radford from 1995-2001 as an assistant
coach, and she began her coaching career at Xavier in 1993-94. Holt entered

Team Camp
Insurance and Release
This camp is for junior high, high school, and AAU
teams, which affords an excellent opportunity for teams
to play and work together on different situations in a
highly organized atmosphere.
All participants will be covered by a secondary accident
insurance included in the cost of the camp’s tuition.
The non-duplicating insurance policy covers medical
expenses within the range of its limits, except for those
costs covered by any other valid and collectible insurance
policies. No one will be admitted to the camp without a
signed release and a given insurance policy number. A
full time certified trainer will be on staff to assist with any
injuries and will assess if any further assistance outside
of camp will be needed. You will need to bring your own
supplies if you need to be taped for competition.
We are here to assist AAU, high school, and junior high
coaches in all areas of the game to improve their teams.
We expect to have all players involved in a positive,
competitive situation and to develop a commitment to
excellence. Strong efforts will be made to allow each
camper to make friends, have fun, and enjoy a great
weekend of basketball. Team camp will offer two age
divisions: junior high and high school. Each division will
be made up of school teams and AAU teams. We will
do our best to split the divisions evenly based on talent level.
Each team will be allowed to have two coaches for
dorm lodging and supervision. However, this is not
mandatory. We will have UTSA Women’s Basketball
staff members lodging in the dorms. If a team is not
going to have a coach lodge in the dorms as a supervisor
we need to be notified of that so our staff monitors the
athletes. If parents want to arrange sleeping in the same
dorm they need to contact the assigned dorm prior to
camp to plan accordingly.
Advanced
Equipment and Clothing
Overnight campers are responsible for their own bedding
(twin bed), towels for swimming and showering and
necessary toiletries. All campers are responsible for their
own basketball shoes, t-shirts, shorts, socks, swimsuit and
spending money.
2008 SLC Tournament Champs
UTSA Women’s Basketball staff members will be lodging
in the dorms to supervise the athletes. If parents want to
arrange sleeping in the same dorm they need to contact
the assigned dorm prior to camp to plan accordingly.
Camp participants will be supervised during all
organized time and in the dormitory. Campers will
be required to attend all assigned activities and
instruction sessions and to comply with the rules and
regulations of the governing conduct of all students on
campus. Any violations or abuse of these rules and
regulations will cause immediate dismissal from the
camp without a refund. We will use every precaution
to prevent accidents. We do not, however, assume any
responsibility for medical, dental, and other expenses
incurred as a result of accidents. Parents and guardians
must sign this application before a camper will be
accepted into the camp.
