At the beginning of the XX Century, Mr.
Silvio Andrea Morando starts his activity
manufacturing the first machines for the
brick factories. In 1920, Officine Morando
becomes the first company able to
propose an entire line of machines and
equipment for the bricks industry. During
the 70’s, Morando reaches his maximum
dimension: facilities with over than
80.000 sqm., 1.400 employees, 340 high
level technicians, 5 sites abroad including
“Morando Brazil”, more than 5.000 plants
supplied worldwide and the biggest R&D
dept. in this field

The innovative design of the machine allows the amplification of the counter loads, thus resulting in a
milling force applied on the rollers double than the one reached by traditional roller mill models.
FORCES APPLICATION SYSTEM ABLE TO REDUCE OF 50% THE LOADS FOR THE MILLING
STRESSES
The concept of the lamination stresses contrast is based on the application of a preset pressure on the
hydraulic cylinders installed on the top of the rocker arms, needed to maintain the adjustable roller at the
defined lamination gap.
