Sun., Oct. 9 – CHICAGO/EN ROUTE
Today we depart Chicago’s O'Hare International Airport on the
American Airlines non-stop trans-Atlantic flight traveling to
Dublin, Ireland. (I)
Mon., Oct. 10 – DUBLIN/BELFAST
After landing at Dublin Airport your Driver/Guide will
welcome you to Ireland. Our day begins with a traditional
Irish breakfast at Coachmans. We drive to County Meath for
a visit to the Boyne Valley Visitor Center. Here we will learn
about the passage tombs of Newgrange and Knowth
constructed over 5,000 years ago. We will also visit a full
scale reconstruction of the chamber at Newgrange and see a
replica of Knowth. After our visit we drive north along the
coast though the scenic Mourne Mountains to Belfast were
we have dinner at our hotel. After dinner we cross the street
to one of the most iconic pubs in Ireland ...The Crown. Or if
you are still up for a great music session lets head over to the
Fountain Tavern. (B,D) Europa Hotel, Belfast
Tues., Oct. 11 – BELFAST
This morning we embark on a guided tour of Belfast. We’ll
see the grounds of Queens University and travel along the
Golden Mile to Donegal Square where we’ll see the ornate
Victorian buildings that include the Grand Opera House and
the Crown Liquor Saloon, before stopping to visit the
imposing City Hall. Afterward, we’ll see both St. Anne’s
Cathedral and the Albert Memorial Clock Tower, as we
make our way out to Shankhill and Falls Road, the main
Catholic and Protestant areas that were home to the bloody
battle grounds of the “Troubles.” Next we embark on a
journey through the life of the Titanic, from her conception
and construction in Belfast to the discovery of the wreck and
the current marine explorations.
This evening, you’re in for an unforgettable experience as we
dine in the atmosphere of the popular show “Game of
Thrones.” Upon arrival, you will be greeted by the Maester
and escorted to the Armory & Forge to choose your authentic
costume. You will then be escorted to your table by the
ladies of Winterfell for your medieval banquet. Your dining
experience begins with candles that are dimly lit, smoke
flowing from open fire pits, traditional music, everyone
dressed in costume and finally the enjoyment of an authentic
medieval meal with fantastic entertainment. (B,D)
Wed., Oct. 12 – BELFAST/DERRY
After breakfast this morning we board our luxury motor
coach and drive through Northern Ireland’s rolling hills and
rugged countryside. Stop to see the beautiful Dark Hedges, a
breathtaking line of beech trees planted in the 18th century.
Next, we’ll stop to explore the Giant’s Causeway, a mass of
40,000 hexagonal basalt columns formed over 60 million










years ago. The sheer strangeness of this World Heritage Site
is the subject of numerous legends, the most popular of
which involves the giant Finn McCool, a hardy Ulster hero.
We continue to Old Bushmills Irish Whiskey Distillery, the
world’s oldest whiskey Distillery, for a tour and a little taste.
We continue to Derry and our hotel where the remainder of
the afternoon is at leisure. After dinner we head to Peadar
O’Donnell’s to enjoy some fantastic music. (B,D)

Thurs., Oct. 13 – DERRY/DONEGAL
Following breakfast we begin with a walking tour of Derry
were we see the well preserved 17th century city walls and
the Diamond, the main square. We also see the 17th century
St. Columb’s Cathedral, the tower Museum and Guildhall
where the history of Derry is depicted in stained-glass
windows. Next, we visit Grianan of Aileach dating back to
500 bc. It is one of Ireland’s greatest circular ring forts, the
name means “The stone fort of the sun”. Following our visit
we continue to Donegal and our hotel. This evening we will
be surrounded by loads of choices for musical diversions.

Fri., Oct. 14 – DONEGAL/WESTPORT
Today we begin by exploring the wilds of County Donegal,
which is known for woolen and tweed production. We drive
along the scenic shores of Donegal Bay and into County
Sligo, romanticized in poetry of W.B. Yeats. We’ll stop to
see Yeats resting place. Our next stop will be in Knock
Shrine where in 1879, Our Lady, St. Joseph and St. John the
Evangelist appeared at the south gable of the church to a band
of parishioners. This afternoon, we arrive in the seaside town
of Westport. This evening in Westport means Matt
Molloy’s, a mecca of great traditional Irish music (B,D)

Sat., Oct. 15 – WESTPORT
After breakfast we visit the Westport house, an 18th century
mansion with superb views of Clew Bay. We see the
stunning rooms and priceless furnishings. Next we are off on
a walking tour of Westport, built in Georgian architecture by
James Wyatt in 1780. We will see the most picturesque parts
of town including the promenade and the stone bridges along
the river Carrow Beg. The afternoon is at leisure. Another
night of wonderful Irish music to look forward to. (B)
Sun., Oct. 16 – WESTPORT/DUBLIN
We depart Westport and travel into the heart of Ireland to
Kilbeggan Distillery, which was established in 1757; while
the distillery is not the oldest of its kind, it is the oldest
licensed distillery in the world. We see how the whiskey is
distilled using modern equipment in the old buildings and
enjoy a sample of the finished product. We will continue
across the pastures of Ireland to the capital city of Dublin.
On arrival our local guide will show us around the prominent historic buildings and monuments of Dublin. The city
has been molded through the centuries with many architectural styles, reflecting the economic, political and artistic
influences. We will visit the Guinness Storehouse to see
exhibits on how this world famous stout was first created
and why it is so popular today. Finish your visit in the rooftop bar, Gravity, overlooking the city center where you can
sample a draft Guinness and enjoy the view of the city.

Mon., Oct. 17 – DUBLIN
This morning we have time at leisure for shopping. In the
afternoon, we drive into the Wicklow Mountains to visit the
Powerscourt House and Gardens, a superb collection of
trees, shrubs, and flowers gathered from all around the world.
This former home of Lord Powerscourt is a delightful experience
with terraced Italian Gardens and abundant floral displays.
After our visit we drive to Glencullen to discover Johnnie
Fox’s Pub, one of Ireland’s oldest and most famous traditional Irish Pubs. On a Monday night we will be in the thick
of if Music and Craic with venues still to be determined.
We enjoy a Irish dinner and traditional music and step dancing. (B, D)
Tues., Oct. 18 – DUBLIN/CHICAGO
All too soon, our vacation in Ireland has come to the end.
We transfer to Dublin Airport in plenty of time to check in
for our non-stop American Airlines flight to Chicago. (B,I)

ARRANGEMENTS: The tour pr ice is based on a minimum par ticipation of 30 persons and includes planning, handling
and operational charges and is quoted on the current rate of exchange, tariff rates, groups size and airfares in effect as of April
27, 2016. In the event of a marked increase or decrease in foreign currency or in tariff rates, the cost is subject to revision.
TOUR PRICING: This is a package tour in which land tour costs and special gr oup air far es have been combined in
the most advantageous way. Should you wish to take the land tour only or deviate from the package tour by changing your
departure and/or return dates of travel, this will eliminate the advantages of the package tour price and special group airfares.
There will be a service charge of $100 per person for altering the airline itinerary, plus any additional charges assessed by the
airlines.
CREDIT CARDS: The tour price is a cash price. If you wish to use a credit card to pay for your vacation a 4% fee must be
added to the tour price to cover the cost of accepting credit cards.
TRIP CANCELLATION, BAGGAGE AND MEDICAL INSURANCE: You have been given the option of purchasing
trip cancellation, baggage and medical insurance at the time you sign-up for the tour. The insurance includes: Trip Cancellation Insurance up to the full price of the tour cost; Trip Interruption up to 150% of the tour cost; Travel Delay - $750; Baggage - $1,500; Baggage Delay - $400; Emergency Accident/Sickness Medical Expense: $50,000; Emergency Medical Transportation - $250,000. The insurance premium is non-refundable (after the 10 day free-look period) and is based on a

CANCELLATION: If after making your initial deposit you find it necessary to cancel fr om the tour for any r eason,
there will be a charge of $100 per person up to 90 days prior to departure. For cancellation between 89 and 60 days prior to
departure, there will be a cancellation charge of $250 per person. For cancellation within 59 days of departure, in addition to
the $250 per person charge, there may be additional cancellation charges from the airline, hotel(s), or ground service companies up to the full value of your tour cost. IMPORTANT: Cancellations will not be accepted by telephone and must be sent in

PASSPORTS AND VISAS: Your tour r equir es a valid passpor t. If you do not alr eady have your passpor t, or it will
expire before the return date of the tour, we suggest you apply for it immediately. No visas are required for your tour. However, if you are a citizen of a country other than the United States, you must advise us in writing with your Reservation Application, as other travel documents may be required.
AIRLINE TICKETING: For ticketing pur poses legal names ar e r equir ed (identical to your passpor t). Once air line
tickets have been issued and if a ticket requires a name change because of incorrect information supplied to our office, the
client is responsible for any applicable airline charges.
RESPONSIBILITY

responsible or become liable for any delay incurred by any person in connection with any means of transportation; nor for any
loss, damage or injury to person or property by reason of any event beyond the control of any agency or supplier, or occurring
without the fault or negligence of such agency or supplier. The right is reserved to substitute the airline to be used; the type of
aircraft; and to alter the dates of the tour; the tour routing; or to cancel the trip if a minimum number of bookings is not
reached for either the air or land portion of this itinerary. The right is also reserved to substitute hotels for other hotels in
available categories. Further, the right is reserved to decline to accept or to retain at any time any person as a participant on
any tour or to cancel any tour. No refund will be made for voluntary absence from the tour unless arrangements are made at
the time of booking. The schedules contained herein are subject to change without notice. All rates are based on current Tariff
and Exchange rates in effect at the time of the printing of this itinerary and are subject to adjustment without prior notification
