Safe Place
Anyone under the age of 18 who
is in a crisis situation and needs
help can either go into one of the
designated Safe Place businesses
or board a TARC bus and ask for
help . TARC employees then contact
the YMCA Shelter House and assist the
youth in getting to the shelter .
When there’s an emergency you won’t be stranded .
If an emergency happens, Ticket to Ride is your

The 4th Street Trolley travels on 4th Street, from Theatre
Square to the Galt House . Trolleys travel Fourth Street
Live via Liberty, 3rd, Muhammad Ali and 5th . Green signs
indicate stops for the 4th Street Trolley .
The Main Street Trolley travels a circular route on Main and
Market from 10th to Campbell . Red signs indicate Main/
Market Trolley stops .
1st Friday Trolley Hop - FREE
An art show, tourist attraction, street party and celebration
of downtown Louisville on the Main and Market corridor . The
Trolley Hop is on the first Friday of each month from 5 to
11 pm, rain or shine . Most galleries close around 9 pm and
restaurants, clubs, and shops stay open later . The trolleys run
until 11pm and can be boarded at any red trolley stop sign on
Market and Main Street, between Campbell and 10th Street .

Frankfort Avenue restaurants, art galleries and shops team
with TARC for the Frankfort Avenue Trolley (F .A .T .) Hop . The
hop is the last Friday of every month from 6 to 10:30 p .m . For

New Cut Hop - FREE
In Louisville South End, from Iroquois Park down Southern
Parkway to Churchill Downs, this trolley hop launched in
2012, operating on a Saturday morning and afternoon . The
route highlights Southern Louisville's shops, restaurants,
