Good for: all ages, non-Girl Scout groups too

Location: Woodland Park, off Hwy 67
Resident/Overnight Camp: June through the first
week of August
Good for: all ages, outside groups too
Specialties: rustic beauty, archery, boating nearby,
zip line, small animal farm!

can be reserved for day/kitchen use if another group has
not reserved it for overnight use

• Homestead House: bunk beds, heat, restrooms and shower,
kitchen, sleeping upstairs only

Location: Allenspark, off Hwy 7
Good for: volunteer-led programs (Troop and Family
Camps); all ages, outside groups
Programming available: volunteer and GECCCO-led (a Fort
Collins troop)
Specialties: rustic beauty, borders RMNP, girl and volunteerled programming, zero waste program, historic Homestead
House

• Homestead House: reserve for day use
• Lodge: not available if reserved for overnight use
Food: cook outdoors, or reserve the lodge for
cooking; outdoor cooking gear available

Specialties: Hiking /mountain access, beautiful scenery, wildlife

PROPERTY SALE: This property on the market for sale, all users must sign a
disclaimer, reservations may be refunded or transferred to another property
(pending space) once it is sold; there will be approximately a three month notice
when this happens.

Good for: Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, and older
troops! Accommodates 1 to 4 troops.
Specialties: Garden of the Gods access; views; easy
access to Colorado Springs

Building Details: Has one main room; dads should
be prepared to sleep in the cab of a truck (tents are

stoves allowed outside; absolutely no outside
fires or charcoal

Location: Genessee, off Hwy 70; near Buffalo Bill’s
Overlook
Good for: trainings, Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, and
older troops! Accommodates 1 to 4 troops.
Specialties: mountains (snow or summer
activities!) and Denver access

Location: Sterling, off Hwy 14; historic building
inside a city park
Good for: trainings, Daisies, Brownies, Juniors,
and older troops! Accommodates 1 to 4 troops.
Specialties: Eastern plains access; close to the
Overland Trail Museum

Year-Round Accommodations: 20 mattresses,
electricity, kitchen, flush toilet
Building Details: This cabin has two floors, and
can accommodate dads in a separate room.
Programming: volunteer-led
Food: cook in the kitchen
Grand Junction Office
Location: Grand Junction, off Hwy 6 & 50
Good for: trainings, Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, and
older troops too! Accommodates 1 to 4 troops.
Specialties: Western Slope access; close to Grand
Mesa, Grand Junction, and Glenwood Springs

Year-Round Accommodations: see below for
details, Hotel Chipeta has electricity and a flush
toilet
Programming: volunteer-led
Food: bring your own camp stoves and food for
cooking in the Outdoor Program Center

Instructors & Gear Rental
Outdoor Supplies: Groups can rent or reserve gear for

Food Reservations: Once your reservation is confirmed, you
will receive a form to confirm food details if your reservation is
for Tomahawk Ranch or Sky High Ranch.
Booking Activities: For Tomahawk Ranch and Sky High Ranch,
you’ll receive an activity reservation form to complete.
Instructing your Own Activities:
• Volunteers can teach archery, canoeing, and activities
following the Safety Activity Checkpoints.
• Volunteers must have an active Girl Scout membership.
• Prior to instruction, all certifications must be current with
copies sent to anna.danila@gscolorado.org for review.

Roles for Overnights/Camping
Roles are for background checked volunteer adults. Girls may also take the lead in
many roles.
Volunteer Camp Director/Team – take Cooking and Camping,
and Overnight Training
Head of logistics for the program. Works with the “Host
Troop/Group” to make the camp happen!
Host Troop/Group
Helps the Volunteer Camp Director/Team make the camp happen!
Camp Dad (or Mom!) – take Cooking and Camping, and
Overnight Training
These are the parents who love the outdoors! Engage them and
give them roles to help with your camp!

reservation is not confirmed until you make your payment.
We are excited to improve your experience by bringing Girl Scout troops and
service units together to make new friends and promote the sisterhood of Girl
Scouts. Please contact the property reservation specialist
inquiry@gscolorado.org reserve an entire property.
You can book one-year out! Our properties fill up, especially during the
summer!
