Important Sale Information
Th e Ri gh t t o F l u s h
Unless described or announced differently, the following terms will apply to each of the lots selling.
All lots described as “The Right to Flush” will carry the following guarantee. In all cases, a
minimum of eight (8) transferable embryos is guaranteed to the buyer. In the event of any cow
failing to produce the minimum number of embryos (8), the buyer will have the option of flushing the cow again until the minimum, and only the minimum, number of embryos is fulfilled, or
the buyer may elect to have their money returned to them based upon a prorated price per
embryo as determined by the auction price of the flush. In all cases, the buyer will assume the
expenses associated with the embryo flush. The location and the technician used for the flushing procedure will be the choice of the seller and in most cases will be announced at the sale.
Unless stated otherwise, the buyer will have the right to flush the female as soon as she is
available. Please see each lot for details on each female’s availability. The duration of the
agreement will be 12 months from the date of the sale. If the purchaser has not received
embryos within this time period, all deposits will be returned in full. If the purchaser has not
paid the full purchase price within this time period, all deposits will be forfeited.
P re gn a n t R e cip ie n t s
In the case of already realized pregnancies (i.e. embryos that have been implanted and
confirmed pregnant) the buyer will pay 100% of the purchase sale day. Each of these
recipient females has been examined for pregnancy by a qualified technician and is fully
guaranteed to be carrying the mating described with each lot. These cattle will sell without
further guarantee. In the case of unrealized pregnancies, the seller will provide the buyer with a
pregnant recipient female that is fully guaranteed to be carrying the mating described in its
respective lot on or about the time agreed upon by the buyer and seller. Buyer must take delivery of and make full settlement for their pregnancy purchase within 30 days of confirmation of
the pregnancy and notification by the seller. All “sexed pregnancies” are fully guaranteed to be
carrying the calf sex as determined in this booklet or as selected by the buyer. No guarantee,
expressed or implied, is made as to a live calf, calf quality, or recipient value. In all cases,
transportation will be the responsibility of the buyer in cooperation with the seller.

Unless described or announced differently, all embryos are Grade #1s and are fully
guaranteed to consist of their respective mating described herein. Due to the nature of this event
and the wide range and geographical locations of the buyers and sellers involved, no guarantee can be made as to conception rate realized when using these embryos. However, if the
buyer uses an embryo technician that is agreeable to the seller, and the buyer informs the seller
of his intentions prior to implanting the embryos, at least one 90-day pregnancy will be guaranteed per three embryos sold. Many of the embryos will be available for transfer at the auction.
However, in all cases, the buyer will be responsible for all shipping arrangements and expense.

All semen is guaranteed to be of acceptable quality but no guarantee is made as to
conception rate. Much of the semen will be available for transfer at the sale. However,
in all cases, the buyer will be responsible for all shipping arrangements and expense.

Internet bidders are responsible for all published updates/corrections and/or announcements made from

Winegardner, OH, including selections as the 2008 ACA Res. National Champion Chi
Female, Grand Champion of the Ohio State Junior Chi Show in 2008, and Senior Heifer
Calf Champion at the 2008 AJCA Junior National Show. She was the best calf in a great
flush that included brothers at $6,800, $5,000, $3,500, and $2,500; and 11T herself was
the $37,000-valued top seller of the 2008 Bainridge Sale.

Only three embryos are slated to sell. Buyer may select three from either package.
The very best of the AMAA gene pool can be found in the Frozen Gold
and the great Beauty 84M leads the way in terms of real power and
breed-leading success. She is a stone-cold lock with Statesman and
Sooner producing one hit after another and now 19 calves that have sold
for an average price in excess of $11,000 per head. Included in that
total are National Champions from the past two years and the hot new full
brothers, X and X2.
The 2009 and 2010 crops from 84M definitely rank as two of the most
influential in breed history. A daughter by SLC Sooner was the $84,000,
mega-watt sale topper of the 2009 Nowatzke Female Sale and was selected as the Grand Champion Female of the 2009 North American
International Maine-Anjou Show from the calf division. Her maternal sister
by GVC Statesman, BNWZ Beauty 1W, was the $70,000 top-seller of the
2009 Hartman Customer Appreciation Sale and later was selected as the
Grand Champion of both the 2011 National Western Maine-Anjou Junior
and Open Shows for Hannah Moore, IL, after she won the Calf Division in
Denver in 2010 – she is featured in this sale as Lot 19. Furthermore, a
son by SLC Sooner, HAA Target, sold at private treaty for $50,000 back
to Nowatzke Cattle in partnership with Blind Badger Ranch, CO, another
was the third high seller of the 2010 OMAA Sale, and a daughter by
Sooner was a $14,500 feature of the 2010 Holiday Classic Sale and will
be a new donor at Watson Cattle, OH.

It took some real arm-twisting to get these packages in the offering but they
are worth the effort because they will generate a new level of success for
any breeder. 84M is high-percentage, Maine-Anjou gold and we doubt
you’ll find too many of these embryos for sale any time soon!

greatest Maine-Anjou cow on the earth and if
you want to use these genetics, you need to
bid now.
The Nowatzke pens at the 2011 National
Western had the largest crowds on the entire
grounds as a string of 84M progeny were on
display. X and X2 caused quite a stir and
much debate; which bull is better? Which one
will breed the best? Should I get some of both?

privilege to select one or more lots at a time.
• All semen will be sold “by the straw/ampule”
multiplied by how many straws are in the lot
you select.

auction. Those lots noted with asterisks (*)
above are expected to be available at the

• In all cases shipment is the responsibility, risk, and
expense of the purchaser.
• Semen available but not picked up sale night will
be stored in the purchaser’s name at S.E.K.

to March 18th. With high-speed internet access you
can then watch the auction and place your bids online
in real-time. For questions concerning the online bidding process please call 937/515-1194.
Option 2: Contact any member of the marketing staff
prior to the auction to place an absentee bid. Please
call as early as possible to insure best possible service.
Due to the nature of the semen sale it is very difficult to
offer live, phone bidding. All absentee purchases will
be billed immediately following the sale and no semen
will be released until payment is secured. Shipping is
at the expense and risk of the buyer.
All absentee bidders must be pre-approved by the sale
manager.
