supplemental front airbags with seat belt sensors and an occupantclassification sensor. The inflation rate of these dual-stage airbags
adjusts depending on crash severity and seat belt usage. If the front
passenger seat is empty, a sensor will deactivate the airbag.2 For
even more protection, standard side-impact supplemental airbags are
built into the front seats, so they move with you when you adjust your
seating position.2 Plus standard roof-mounted curtain side-impact
supplemental airbags, to help provide enhanced head protection

safety technologies to help keep you out of harm’s way.

Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) – Helps to keep you on your steered
path, if Versa begins to oversteer or understeer, by reducing engine
power and/or applying brake pressure to specific wheels.4
Traction Control System (TCS) – Sometimes you need a little extra help
getting a grip. So when TCS senses a front wheel start to slip, it reduces
engine power and/or applies the front brakes to help maintain traction.
Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) – Adjusts brake propor tioning
to compensate for added weight from passengers or cargo. It even
adjusts as fuel is consumed.
Brake Assist (BA) – “Reads” how quickly the brakes are engaged and
immediately applies maximum available power boost for braking.
Brake Override Technology – Like every Nissan since 2005, Versa
comes standard with Brake Override Technology. It’s designed to help
slow down your vehicle and bring it to a safe stop in an emergency by
overriding accelerator input and reducing engine power when the
accelerator and brake pedals are applied simultaneously.
Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) – An advanced ABS system that gives
confident, secure braking when you need it most.

quicker evaporation and smoother, more stable combustion, while reducing
the amount of unburned fuel, and lowering hydrocarbon emissions. For
no-nonsense acceleration and dynamic performance, this is an engine

Xtronic CVT® (Continuously Variable Transmission) – This single, flexible
belt does away with fixed gear ratios. Just put your Versa into “Drive” and
