Anna Caltabiano Inspires Writers at Girltopia!

Anna Caltabiano is the teen author of All That Is Red, a dystopian novel about a teenage girl who must
choose between feeling all of the joys and pains of life, or becoming part of an empire of people who do
not experience emotion.
Anna spoke to Sweety High about her amazing Girltopia experiences in an exclusive interview!
“I just love watching girls coming together as a community and you see this exchange of ideas,” Anna
said. “You see girls helping other girls. I think that’s just a beautiful thing to watch.”
Anna was also one of the speakers on BYOU Magazine’s Celebrity “Girl Talk” panel at Girltopia, where
she got to share her personal experiences.
“I’m really thankful to be here and it’s extremely fun to talk about what I like to do, which is write,” Anna
said. “I hope to foster other creative minds out there.”
Thousands and thousands of Girl Scouts attended the Girltopia event, where they had the chance to
meet celebrities and hear about all of the huge opportunities open to girls.
“I think it’s important to remind girls that they can do anything that they set their minds to,” she said.
“Once they find something that they’re passionate about they should go and chase after it.”
