PICK UP: In order for there to be proper supervision and safety, all
campers must be picked up on Sunday by 9:00 am. There will be a fee
of $15 per hour per child that is picked up after 9:00 a.m. For families
that have to drop off and pick up campers in the same day, please
make arrangements with our office to come between 10-11 a.m.
There will be a $35 fee for early drop off per camper family.
CAMPERSHIP FUNDS: Matthew Jacobs Memorial Fund: Camp is
the #1 place where kids give their hearts to Jesus, so at Camp Au Sable
we believe that no child should be turned away because of finances. For
information and an application, see www.campausable.org.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: Any cancellations should be
reported immediately by phone to give other campers an opportunity
to attend. Deposits are non-refundable. If you cancel two weeks prior
to the beginning of the camp, you will be refunded 50% of the camp
fee. There are no refunds for cancellation made after this time.
YOUTH CAMPS – There is a $100 deposit to reserve a place for your
child. ($50 is non-refundable).
FAMILY CAMPS – There is a non-refundable fee of $50 per person.
The deposit is 20% of the total registration, with a minimum deposit of
$100, and is needed to reserve your family at camp.
Dear Parents,
We are looking forward to seeing you and your camper this summer and
having a fun time together.
Whether this is your first time or 10th time to come to camp, here’s a little
advice to help make this summer the best ever:
1. Being a friend is the best way to make a friend.
2. Friends are thoughtful, cheerful, kind and would never
intentionally hurt anyone.
3. Bullying is rude, unkind, hurtful, and selfish; it is not acceptable
at Camp Au Sable. If you see it, help to end it.
4. Show respect to everyone!
5. Conquer your fear and try something new.
The Seventh-day Adventist Church started Camp Au Sable in 1948 to show
the love of God to kids of all ages, race, size, shape and offers programming
that promotes Bible values in a safe and friendly environment. Join the
thousands of youth that have made Camp Au Sable their summer tradition!

Campers can choose a counselor based on each age group (7-8 and 9-10). Same as last summer, the counselors work in pairs. Twice the
supervision! Twice the fun!
Adventure Camp is all about trying new things and learning to work as a team. Every day, campers will rotate with their cabins through all four
adventure-packed areas of camp, which include Land, Water, Craft, and Nature activities; all the while experiencing new things and bonding
with their cabin mates and head counselor.
LAND: Improve your horseback riding skills, conquer the climbing
wall, practice leadership and cooperation at the low ropes course,
and more.
WATER: Master paddling a canoe, become a stronger swimmer,
cruise on skis or a wakeboard, and more.
CRAFTS: A different craft will be available every day! Create
something, stretch your imagination, take something home for
someone you love, and more.

BIBLE CLASS: We will be offering a Bible Class under the craft
section. The class will be taught by the Camp Pastor for the week
and tag-teamed by the Camp Evangelist. Campers will learn creative
ways to study the Bible.
NATURE: Discover God through His nature. Spy the Bald Eagle and
other winged things, tiptoe through the forest--Shh! There are deer
over there, learn to study and discover God’s world, its creatures, its
rocks, and more.
