STUDY TOUR ACTIVITY LIST
TUITION
Mainstreamed structure – students are placed in regular international classes and mix with young
learners from over 40 countries OR
Closed structure – students stay together as a class in their own Study Tour Group
HALF DAY AFTERNOON ACTIVITIES
Aboriginal Culture - Learn to Play the
Didgeridoo and Throw a Boomerang
Learn about the history and culture of the
didgeridoo. Have a lesson and learn how to play
this amazing instrument. After learning to play the
Didgeridoo learn how to throw a Boomerang! It
might come back to you!
AQWA and Hillarys Marina
AQWA takes you closer to nature than you would
normally dare to go. Enjoy the thrills of being only
inches from Sharks, Sting Rays and Eels. See the
boats at Hillary’s Boat Harbour and spend some
time shopping and eating at some funky food
outlets.
Caversham Wildlife Park
Caversham Wildlife Park is home to an array of
Australian native animals. Here’s your chance to
feed the Red Kangaroo, hold a Wombat and touch
the Koalas. See the Farm Show and learn how to
shear a sheep, make billy tea and crack a whip!
City Orientation Tour
Take a brief tour of the City to arrange students’
needs such as currency exchange, travel cards,
short city familiarisation walking tour.
City Orientation & Kings Park Tour
Gold Mint and Belltower
The Gold Mint tour shows you the process of
making gold bullion, from the melting and pouring
of the gold, to the stamping of the finished bullion.
You can also walk back in time, with a re-creation of
an early day’s gold panning settlement. Finish the
afternoon climbing the iconic Perth Bell Tower and
have a go ringing the 300kg bell!
Graduation and Farewell Party
Students are presented with a Graduation
Certificate and Report at a Graduation Ceremony.
Afterwards students have a farewell party including
a pizza lunch
Great Escape Water Playground
Enjoy the afternoon at Hillarys Great Escape. Play
mini golf, ride the water slides or bounce on the
trampolines!
Harbour Town Shopping Centre
Visit one of Perth’s most popular shopping centres
with popular direct outlets and specialty stores.
Pick up your last minute gifts for the family
Ice Skating
Enjoy the afternoon skating on Perth’s best rink.
Tour includes skate hire. Make sure you bring
some socks with you to Perth
Take a brief tour of the City to arrange students’

Follow the city tour with a visit the symbol of Perth
- Kings Park, situated on Mount Eliza and enjoy the
beautiful view of the city and Swan River.

Kings Park Tour
Browse the shops in Perth city for souvenirs and
take some time to explore what Perth has to offer
including great food halls to tempt your appetite
and listen to the buskers in the mall.
Coastal Beach Tour
Rock climbing is a safe and exciting way for
students to try something different, Test your
climbing and flexibility skills with this adventure
activity.
Visit the symbol of Perth - Kings Park, situated on
Mount Eliza and enjoy the beautiful view of the city
and Swan River while walking among the treetops
on the treetop swinging bridge in the State’s
famous Botanical Garden.
Visit some of Perth’s most famous beaches including
Cottesloe, City Beach and Scarborough beaches.
At City Beach, have a go at Beach Volleyball – a
popular Australian sport.
Laser Games
Fremantle Historic Prison Tour
Museum and Art Gallery
Take a trip to Fremantle and enjoy a guided walking
tour of the heritage listed Fremantle Prison. Learn
about the history and hear stories of famous
Australian inmates.
Fremantle Markets
Spend the afternoon exploring the famous
Fremantle markets. Fremantle markets offer a wide
variety of speciality stalls selling various arts and
crafts as well ad a range of souvenirs. It also hosts
an array of international cuisine to tantalise your
taste buds. (Friday, Saturday and Sundays only)
Each player is equipped with their own Laser gun,
and must destroy their enemies and their base!
FIRE AWAY!!! This is a fun activity.
Located in the historic Northbridge Cultural Precinct
here you will learn about Western Australian history
and see famous Australian paintings at the Art
Gallery.
SciTech Tour
Sci-Tech is the place of the future. Based around
the laws of Science and Nature, Sci-Tech is an
educational yet fun filled place for all students.
Explore the intriguing world of Science and
Technology and take part in all different types of
science experiments.

School Visit
Visit one of Perth’s primary or secondary schools. Meet, interact and learn about the culture of the Australian education system
Sports Afternoon
Enjoy the afternoon playing sports such as Australian Rules football, Frisbee, Basketball or Soccer
Supa Golf
Supagolf is a modified form of golf where the golf clubs have oversized heads and are made of plastic. The game is for all levels of
experience and skill and is located in the beautiful Swan Valley.
Ten-pin Bowling
Students can try their luck at making a strike by knocking down all the pins. Make sure you bring some socks with you. Bowling shoes
are supplied.
University Visit and Campus Tour
Visit one of Perth’s five universities , take a campus tour and explore the life of an International university student.
FULL DAY ACTIVITIES
Caversham Wildlife Park and Chocolate Factory –Full Day Trip
Caversham Wildlife Park is home to an array of Australian native animals. Here’s your chance to feed
the Red Kangaroo, hold a Wombat and touch the Koalas. See the Farm show and learn how to shear a
sheep, crack a whip and make billy tea! Finish the day with a visit to the famous Chocolate factory (lunch
included) Fremantle (including Fremantle Prison) – Full Day Trip
Take a scenic drive to Fremantle, stopping over at popular tourist spots for sightseeing and photo taking.
Visit the Fremantle Maritime Museum and take a short walk to the popular Cicerello’s Fish & Chips shop
(lunch included).
Also visit the historic Fremantle Prison and Fremantle Markets where you can take the opportunity to
buy some Australian souvenirs.
Great Escape- Full Day Trip
Kick back and cut loose at the Great Escape with a load of fun filled, action packed activities including,
Rock Climbing, High Ropes, Perth’s Best Water slides, Jungle Mountain, 6D Cinema and much much
more. Enjoy a beach barbeque lunch weather permitting or eat at one of Hillarys funky food outlets
(lunch included)
The Maze Family Fun Park
Spend a day playing in big mazes, little mazes and brain teasing mazes. There’s also 9 holes of mini golf,
and you can bounce around on our giant jumping pillow or challenge your friends to a game of garden
chess and enjoy a picnic under our big shady trees. Meet the friendly koalas, kangaroos and emus before
having a wander through the native bird aviary full of quirky, feathered friends. (Lunch included)
Rottnest Island - Full Day Trip (Summer excursion only)
Take the fast ferry to Rottnest Island, home to some of the most beautiful beaches and bays in Australia.
It is a great place for snorkelling, swimming, riding a bicycle or just relaxing. Rottnest is the only place in
the world where you can see wild quokkas (similar to a small kangaroo). (lunch included)
Adventure World- Full Day Trip (Summer excursion only)
This is one of Perth’s most fun filled water playgrounds. Spend the day riding every ride and having a
great time with your friends. Hats, beach towels and swim wear required. (Lunch included)
Zoo- Full Day Trip
Enjoy one of the most comprehensive zoos in the world. The enclosures have been built to resemble the
animals’ natural habitat. Each section of the zoo displays the environment and vegetation that matches
the animals’ original location. Visit the African savannah, the Asian rainforest and the Australian desert.
(Lunch included)
Two Day Activities - Overnight Adventure Challenge
Students stay overnight at an Adventure Camp. During the day they learn new skills, gain confidence and
interact and bond with other students. The program includes a range of land and rope based activities
to challenge the students.
