Presidents Monthly Message
Gavin Hunt
The year is up and running!!
With both Round 1 of Minikhana and Dirt X out of the way, I must say what a great start to the year. The most
overwhelming part of the year so far is the commitment from both our members and the committee in the
generous amount of time they have given at the first working bee, round 1 competitions, and setting up during the
week and on race days and getting the point scoring up.
I’m excited to see the announcement of the Louee weekend returning to the club on the 26th, 27th and 28th of June
and the final 2 rounds of Dirt X motocross are just about locked in at the great Lakes Club and the return of
Motocross at Dargle.
I look forward to meeting or seeing you all over the next few rounds, you will find me around the sign on area or
where you receive your marshall point.
Say G’Day I would love to hear your input to improve the mighty BHJMTC.
Thanks again,
Gavin Hunt - President BHJMTC

Kickstart Coaching Program
Do you have a child between the ages of 7yrs to under 16yrs who is interested in obtaining a
competition licence? You will need to enrol in a Kickstart Coaching Program which is a Junior
Coaching Program created by Motorcycling Australia to ensure junior riders are competent in riding
and know the rules of racing.
The program requires you to undertake a minimum of five hours of
coaching by an accredited Motorcycle Sport Coach, and exists to ensure you
are able to ride safely and that you know the rules of racing.
If you or someone you know is interested in participating in a Kickstart
Program please contact us to register your interest and we will contact you
when a date and coach is available. Please note minimum numbers are
required to run. These are held at our Horsley Park grounds. Please contact
us on Facebook, or email secretary@hmcc.com.au or call 0421 840 930.

Louee Social Weekend
Fri/Sat/Sun
26/27/28 June 2015
Our President, Gavin, has been a busy bee speaking with the owners of Louee Enduro & Motocross Complex.
Gavin has been able to re-instate “Louee Social Weekend” in June 2015 with the owners of Louee.
We would love to see a great weekend of like minded people enjoying the sport of dirt bike riding.
In case you don’t know anything about Louee read on;
The Louee Enduro and Motocross Complex is on Lue Station, a working sheep and cattle property situated near
the village of Lue in Central NSW. Louee is only 20 minutes drive East of Mudgee and approximately 3 hours drive
from Sydney or Newcastle.
Louee is owned and operated by a bike rider so has all the features you would expect to find at a property that
specialises in off road bike riding. Five Motocross Tracks, special areas for juniors and novice riders, 150km of
Tracks and Trails designed specifically for off road riding and racing, workshop, canteen, accommodation, bike
wash, overnight storage and first aid.
We pride ourselves on giving you a top ride at LOUEE therefore it is helpful that you book in advance. Also, plan
your ride. Motorcycle riding is dangerous, plan to have a safe ride don't just hope it will happen. Have a look at our
safety and legal page and plan your trip.
For more detailed information check out their website at www.louee.net.au
