A new school wing which will include three new classrooms and a teacher office is desperately needed. The new wing will cost roughly $95,000 of which OMNI has approximately $33,000 on hand so far. A generous donor has agreed to match up to $25,000 if other supporters of OMNI are able to raise funds for the school wing by June 30, 2015. This will allow the construction of the wing to begin and put OMNI at over 85% of its capital goal. OMNI has had a 100% graduation rate for the past five years and all OMNI students have tested in the top ten percent in national testing. OMNI is seeking assistance in meeting this challenge grant to allow the new school wing to be constructed this year. Please prayerfully consider a donation to support the education of the impoverished children in Zambia. If you have any questions please see Jon Wilhelm, Cindy Strieter-Boland or Charlie Koch. Pierstorf Memorial Loan Fund provides interest-free loans to Lutheran students who are or will be enrolled full time in a four-year undergraduate program at any accredited college or university. This year, the maximum interest-free loan is $3,000 for the school year. The Pierstorf Memorial Loan Fund is now accepting applications for the 2015-2016 school year. Application deadline is Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Apply now! For more information, go to: www.pierstorf.org OMNI Medical team will depart for Zambia, Africa on July 17-Aug 2, 2015. Each year this mission treats over 4,000 patients medically and saves many lives through its outreach into the tribal communities in Zambia. Last year OMNI spent $9,831 on medications for the poor, or just a little over $2.81 per patient. Please prayerfully consider making a donation to OMNI to support the costs of these medications. Make checks payable to OMNI: memo line: medical mission. Mail to: OMNI 6930 Empire Lane, Roanoke, VA 24018 Save the Date! May 9, 2015 Participate as an individual or put together a team!
