SPIRITS
Conceived in 2006 and born of blood, sweat and tears
(and two smashed piggy banks) in 2007 The Ringwood
Metropolitan Fire Station was rescued from neglect
and disinterest, then resurrected for all to enjoy by two
brothers born and raised (for a bit) in Ringwood in the 70’s.

It is with great pride that for the last five years we have
been offering a unique, stimulating dining experience in the
outer eastern suburbs where everyone told us “it’ll never
work”. Well, boy did we all prove those naysayers wrong.
Our team of passionate, hard working professionals (past
and present) have toiled with us every step of the way as
we learned from our mistakes and shared in our collective
successes. Most importantly our inclusion in every
publication of The Age Good Food Guide since the first,
way back in 2008.
It has always been our intention to provide a convivial
setting where wonderful flavours can be experienced but
most of all shared with loved ones, friends and family. These
are in our opinion the most precious of times, enjoying
carefully selected and consciously procured ingredients,
lively conversation and ultimately great food & wine with
those you truly care about.
We give thanks to those who encourage us to continue to
grow and learn, but most of all we give our thanks to you
for choosing to spend some time in our home, our house.
