When discharging octoboxes, super sacks, big bags and FIBCs
containing granular products or
ground stock by means of suction
lances, the conveying operation is
frequently prone to interruption, resulting in operating down time. The
conveying operation can only be
resumed by manually repositioning
the suction lance. The problem
occurs in particular when the bulk
container is getting empty. Over
a long period, the operator must
manually guide the suction lance
over the material to ensure that
the plastic inner liner is completely
emptied.

Applicable to all bulk containers with plastic inner liner (octoboxes, mesh boxes, super sacks, big bags and FIBCs) and to all bulk containers with
loops (for example super sacks, big bags and FIBCs).

While discharging by suction, the flexible bulk bag
walls are pulled upwards and inwards by means of
the automatic bag lifting operation. This causes the
bag to become closer and the bulk material around
flows towards the evacuation point in center. That
followed, the bulk bag is lifted up from the floor thus
enabling the bag to get completely empty. The bag
bottom type is essential for the degree of complete
emptying (almost a hundred percent result is possible by using round bottom bags of PE).

assembling aid. The final assembling can be easily done with just a
few turns.

Basing on the discharging from the top, only a handlift is required to

Oktomat® discharging stations are autarkic and matching for every suction conveying system for bulk materials. As soon as there is vacuum
in conveying pipe line, the Oktomat® starts discharging. When using
Oktomat® double units, the discharging will be automatically switched
on to the next full bulk container at empty signal.

working principle of Helios digital pneumatics
Once the refrigerated dried compressed air is decompressed to atmospheric
pressure, the dew point would drop down to -20°C up to -28°C. This dry air
quality level is sophisticated for more than 95% of drying tasks in drying of
thermoplastic materials. By means of auxiliary equipments, the dew point
can be dropped down up to -60°C.
The system is capable to use the quantity of dry air only as required to meet
exactly the drying task by means of patented HELIOS high pressure digital
pneumatics, up to 32 different dry air volume flows are possible by combining
2-5 air supply valves with different nozzle diameters in binary code. This
enables defined drying programs, with absolute repeat accurancy, combined
with material-specific system adjustments by means of editable data base.
Additional drying period control can be done by means of HELIOcontrol®
software.

2 stage dedusting with ejector hopper loader
Precise bulk material batches of 100g to 200g are conveyed into the dedusting chamber of
special glass, stirred up by means of ionized air, thus dedusting the material. In the process, the
dust content of resin/regrind will be removed up to 99% and separated. The dedusted material
batch will be led through a flat type bottom slide valve into the drying container or directly onto
the processing machine.
