Creating Active Retirement Years The Art of Copper Enameling Colorants, copper cleaner, sifters, metal jewelry components and firing are provided. Copper pieces need to be purchased during the class for $1 each. Most pieces are kiln fired by the instructor and completed during each class. Intro to Copper Enameling During this introductory class you will investigate and learn the techniques of the copper enameling process with easy step by step instructions, including copper preparation and applying enamel colorants for design and kiln firing. Experience the thrill of making unique copper enameled earrings, necklaces or fashion pins with small pre-stamped copper pieces. This is the first exhibition of the Granpaparazzi Photography Club and we look forward to many more. My attention as a photographer is drawn to the details of nature, and my intent is to capture the beauty of these details in my images. Then begin the process of drawing your creation to scale, and introducing acrylic paint to your canvas. I had been searching for things to do without much luck when my daughter suggested that I look Do you enjoy sewing, knitting, crocheting or just helping for a good cause? Then join this wonderful group that meets every Monday in the Ballroom from 9-11:30 a.m. This past year this group has made more than 1200 items, including lap blankets and baby dolls, which were then donated to local charities and hospitals. into the activities offered at the Senior Center. Everyone was so warm and welcoming that I quickly felt at home. In order to meet people I began to sign up for a variety of the wonderful activities offered, including exercise, educational classes, games, numerous art classes from extremely talented artists, trips, special event programs and, of course line dancing. I have learned so much along the way and met some of the most fantastic people. It is hard to imagine what my life today would be like without the Senior Center.
