Meat @ HOFEX will return from 8-11 May 2017 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) in conjunction with HOFEX
2017 which is renowned as Asia’s leading food and hospitality tradeshow.
In 2015, the first Meat @ HOFEX was launched and quickly became the talk of the town. Top meat traders in Hong Kong like
Sutherland and nine overseas pavilions showcased various prime cuts and flew in meat experts all the way from Argentina,
Denmark, Hungary, Poland, Scotland, Spain, U.K., U.S.A and Wales, to demonstrate the best and unique meat cutting, preparing
and cooking techniques to the 38,053 visitors from around Asia. Meat @ HOFEX 2017, situated at Hall 5E of the HKCEC will continue
to bring these prime cuts and more to Asia – the ever-growing meat market!
MEAT @ HOFEX is the perfect platform to meet with high-calibre buyers
in the Asia Pacific region and enhance your brand image.
A top feature of HOFEX 2017, MEAT @ HOFEX will be prominently
promoted to our potential buyers in varies channels, such as leading
trade magazines, as well as HOFEX printed materials, E-newsletters and

quality meat is at all-time high, and a surge of visitors from home and
abroad are expected to come to HOFEX 2017 to browse and source

The 2nd Butchery Skills Challenge - Hong Kong
International Culinary Classic
To promote the intricate art of butchery in Hong Kong and Asia,
the 2nd Butchery Skills Challenge will continue to test contestants’
practical skills, as well as their creativity, innovation and valueadding with good hygienic practices. This competition is part of
the globally renowned Hong Kong International Culinary Classic
which is also endorsed by World Association of Chef’s Societies
(WACS) and co-organised with Hong Kong Chefs Association.
Exhibitors can become sponsors of carcass of ox, lamb, pork,
chicken etc. to further enhance their exposure at the show.
The 5th Spanish Ham Slicing Competition
Organised by the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade - ICEX and
the Spanish Trade Commission in Hong Kong, this one and only
event of its kind in town will gather professionals from hotels,
restaurants and stores to battle over their talented slicing style,
speed, quality, cleanliness and presentation.

Globally famous butchery masters from local and overseas will
demonstrate the art of butchery, cultural sausage making, pork
pie making and provide insights on the Meat Trend, Sustainable
Farming, Organic Farming, Chefs’ Selection of Meat and Culinary
