Pernilla Nilsson Overarching questions investigated in the research platform • How is learning captured and understood in relation to new technologies and digital media? • How are individuals (and groups) affected when social practices become media- and technology dependant, in institutional as well as informal environments? • What conclusions can be made about the conditions for learning and development in the contemporary technologyintensive society? • …And further questions are welcome to be explored. Pernilla Nilsson 2014 – Initiation of the Research Platform • Three main strands of research: 1. University students´ learning through the use of ICT and digital media 2. Digital Humanities - Learning through ICT and digital media in public and private cultural institutions 3. Student teachers´ professional learning through virtual cases New areas will be initiated 2015. Pernilla Nilsson 2015-2017 • Grants Applications submitted from all three strands (RJ 2014, RJ 2015, VR 2015) • New areas of research in connection to the three main strands are developed (see specific information) • Close Connection to Digital, Laborative Centre at Q1. • Innovative digital test-arenas in collaboration with industry and the municipality • New researchers join the platform Publications are submitted from all three strands Pernilla Nilsson Pernilla Nilsson
