Learn to Swim
COST: $39/MEMBERS (*3 WEEK SESSIONS: $30/MEMBERS)
Our learn to swim program is based on the American Red Cross guidelines. We have
developed our program to emphasize safety, parent involvement, and one of the smallest
instructor-to-student ratios in the mid-Michigan area. On the first day of class, we will
place participants with instructors based on specific abilities. At the end of the last week
of class, students will receive a report card that will show their progression.

Junior Tennis
Our R.O.GY. program (Red Ball, Orange Ball, Green Ball, Yellow Ball) is a streamlined pathway for both Jr. Development and our 10 & Under
Program. R.O.G.Y. is a progression from ages 3 up to 12 years old. All students must be pre-registered before entering class.
R.O.G.Y. Path (Ages 3–10)
Y A S
(R) Red Ball: Ages 3–5, Ages 6–7
(O) Orange Ball: Ages 8–10
Performance Side of R.O.G.Y (Ages 7–12)
Y A S
Players will be introduced to more advanced drills and playbased situations. Players will work to develop court movement
and awareness, how to control height, direction and depth
of the ball. Utilizing the 60’ court modifications, children in
this program will learn to rally back and forth, experimenting
with different spins and pace. As the skill set of each group
progresses, instruction will transition to full size 78’ courts.
Players at this level are also encouraged to add the
Performance Training for Tennis Athletes to their schedule.
(G) Green Ball: Ages 7–12
Performance 10s and Performance 12s
(Y) Yellow Ball: Ages 10–12
Performance 12s
Once a player develops a basic skill set, which includes: being
able to rally forehands and backhands with a coach and partner,
consistently serve the ball, and have a basic understanding of
keeping score, then the player will have the opportunity to
move up to our Performance Side of R.O.G.Y.
Futures (Ages 11–18)
Y A S
For players 11–18 years of age just beginning the game. This is a
fundamentals class focusing on stroke production, terminology,
scoring, and FUN! The players will learn the first stages of
cooperative tennis through self and partner rallying. Your child
will learn how to initiate a rally, how to move and judge a ball,
and how to control height, direction and depth on the court.
All students must be pre-registered before entering class.
Tournament Prep SQUAD (TPS) (Ages 11–18)
Y A S
Players with at least two years prior group and private lesson
experience will be eligible for this class. This class is designed for
beginner-intermediate players with the interest to improve their
game. Players in this program will start to focus on full swing
production on all strokes including forehand, backhand, volley,
serve, and return of serve. Players in this program will learn to
rally back and forth, experimenting with different angles and
pace. All students must be pre-registered before entering class.
Performance SQUAD (PS) (Ages 12–18)
Y A S
This class is designed for intermediate junior players with a minimum
of three years group and private lesson experience. Players at this
level are beginning to play USTA-sanctioned tournaments. This
two hour training program takes all the skill sets taught in TPS and
introduces more advanced drill and point play-based situations. A
typical day will consist of 1 hour of situational drilling followed by
a second hour of match and point play. This is a two day a week
minimum enrollment class. Players must be approved by MAC
panel of pros, and ALL students must be pre-registered before
entering class. Players at this level are also encouraged to add the
Xtreme Sports Performance Academy to their schedule.
Performance SUPER SQUAD (PSS) (Ages 12–18)
Y A S
This program is designed for players who consistently compete in
USTA sanctioned tournaments and hold a current USTA ranking. This
two hour Competitive Training Program takes all the skill sets taught
in PS and develops more advanced drill and play based situations. A
typical day in PSS will consist of 1 hour of intense situational drilling
followed by a second hour of match play. More experienced/skilled
players should consider this program. This is a 2 day a week minimum
enrolment class. Players must be approved by MAC panel of Pros
and Tennis Manager. ALL students must be pre-registered
before entering class.
Our Top level Performance Classes will have limited
enrolment to maintain quality Pro to Student ratios.
Performance Training & Conditioning
Y A S
If you are a serious tennis player, competing in tournaments and
investing in lessons, this option is for you. Developing strength and
body control to improve your game is a vital ingredient to competitive
development. We can customize a program that suits your schedule
and the needs of you as a player. The MAC highly recommends this
training for competitive juniors, varsity high school players, and
college players. For more information please contact our Tennis
department to discuss options.

get your dancing hobby started out on the right foot. As a nonprogressive and circular dance, the swing is convenient on any

EAST COAST SWING 101
A form of swing dance to moderate tempo blues, R&B and, in recent
times, contemporary music. It is the smoother, sleeker version of
the swing dance family. It is characteristically highly musical and
can adopt many nuances from other forms of dance. This makes
it a highly versatile dance form.
