Metro Morris Chair
T h e M e t r o p o l i t a n C o l l e ct i o n METRO MORRIS CHAIR The iconic Bow Arm Morris Chair, Leopold Stickley’s circa 1910 tribute to the leader of the English Arts & Crafts Movement, William Morris, receives a modern makeover that’s sure to turn heads. Still present in this version created for Stickley’s contemporary Metropolitan Collection are the long, gracefully bowed arms, sturdy corbels, and arched front stretcher. Lending fresh distinction and flair are the tapered and splayed legs, the wedge-shaped side stretchers, and the streamlined curves. The legs, corbels, side and back slats, and pins are made of walnut; all else is cherry. Pins and through-tenons are flushed. Like the original, this Metropolitan version has four adjustable back positions and can be complemented with a matching footstool. Both pieces are available in a choice of luxurious fabrics and leathers. 7629 Metro Morris Chair H40 W35 D40-48 Cherry & Walnut For additional information contact: Aminy I. Audi L. & J.G.
