POLICY
WHEN WILL EDOCS BE ISSUED?
Sunquest is known for the flexibility of its package vacations and now
that flexibility has been further improved. Today, Sunquest is delighted
to announce a more flexible payment policy that will make it easier for
travel agents and their clients to take advantage of the tour operator’s
excellent prices for early bookings.
Effective February 22, 2016 Sunquest will accept a deposit of only
$250 per person to hold a reservation, with final payment due 45
days before departure.
The following FAQ explains the policy in more detail. If you have any
questions or feedback, please don’t hesitate to contact your Sunquest
sales rep or our call centre at:

Edocs will be issued as soon as payment is received
in full for the booking. A guarantee of payment is not
considered sufficient for this purpose.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON’T MAKE
PAYMENT AT 45 DAYS?
If payment has not been received by the 45 day
deadline, Sunquest reserves the right to cancel the
booking. It is important to note that a confirmed
payment must be received at 45 days. A guarantee of
payment is not considered sufficient for this purpose.
IF I USE MY LOYALTY POINTS TO BOOK
PERSONAL TRAVEL CAN I BENEFIT
FROM THE DEPOSIT POLICY?
Yes, deposits can be used for bookings that are made
with Loyalty Points. However, Loyalty Points cannot
be used to cover the deposit. This amount must be
paid in cash or with a credit card.
CAN FUTURE TRAVEL VOUCHERS BE
USED TO PAY FOR DEPOSITS?
WHEN DOES THE NEW DEPOSIT POLICY
TAKE EFFECT?
The new policy takes effect on February 22, 2016.
WHAT IS THE DEPOSIT AMOUNT AND
WHEN IS IT AVAILABLE?
For bookings made prior to 45 days before departure,
a deposit of $250 per passenger must be applied at
time of booking. For bookings made on or within 45
days before departure, full payme nt must be applied
at time of booking.
DOES THE POLICY APPLY TO ALL
SUNQUEST PACKAGES?
Yes, the policy is applicable to all Sunquest packages,
regardless of destination, airline and hotel. The preexisting relaxed payment policy for Sandals, Beaches
and Grand Pineapple hotels ($300 deposit) will now
move to a $250 deposit, consistent with all other
products.
WITH THE NEW DEPOSIT POLICY IN
PLACE, ARE THERE ANY CHANGES
TO THE TIMING OF MY COMMISSION
PAYMENTS?
ARE THERE ANY CHANGES TO THE
DEPOSIT POLICY FOR SUNQUEST
GROUP BOOKINGS?
No, the deposit policy for groups will not change. The
groups deposit remains $150 per person for bookings
made prior to 45 days before departure.
ARE THERE ANY CHANGES TO
SUNQUEST’S CANCELLATION FEES?
For bookings made within 45 days of departure, there
are no changes to Sunquest’s cancellation fees. For
bookings made prior to 45 days before departure,
the cancellation fee will equal the deposit payment.
In other words, the deposit is non-refundable. The
cancellation fees for bookings prior to February 22,
2016 are unaffected.
No, Future Travel Vouchers cannot be used to cover
the deposit, but may be used once full payment is
due.
WHEN I MAKE BOOKING ON DEPOSIT,
DO I RECEIVE AN AIRLINE PNR AND
CAN I DO SEAT SELECTION?
A PNR will be created for all bookings, including
those on deposit, allowing you to do seat selection.

DO I NEED TO PAY A DEPOSIT FOR
CHILDREN OR INFANTS?
Children aged 2 and over must also pay a deposit.
Infants do not require a deposit.
Summary of Cancellation Fees:
Prior to 45 days before departure
– $250 per person
44 days to 21 days prior to departure
– 50% of the total price
20 days to departure date, including on and after
departure date
– 100% of total price
Commission payments will continue to be paid once
full payment has been received.
