that affects park operations. We are living in some challenging
times for our industry. Ours is an industry where we provide entertainment, fun
and pleasurable experiences for our
guests, but the business side of our business is exceedingly serious. It is particularly in these times when we need an active, vital association to assist us. As we
face issues that are imposed upon us,
you should be pleased to have an association that is facing up to every challenge
and trying to direct the conversation to
make certain that your interests and
needs are considered. Read on and see
how pleased you should be with the leadership of your state and national association. Together we will meet every challenge that faces us. Thank you for your
continued support.

2012 Annual Convention & Trade Show
Did we have fun or what! Rincon West was the perfect venue
for our Convention. The meeting rooms, food, and hospitality
were absolutely fabulous not to mention our Chairman Annette. Thank you George O’Leary for your generosity and for
sharing your staff with AZ ARVC.
In this issue you will find a short synopsis of the seminars as
well as pictures of attendees.
Please join with us in thanking the following business’s who
gave of their time and support to making the 2012 Convention
a success.
Williams, Zinman & Parham PC
Synopsis of Seminars
1.Legally Mine:
Jason Mason of Utah presented a class on Asset Protection. Many attendees were sad that they couldn’t attend both Legally Mine and Social Media as both classes were excellent. Those in attendance at Legally Mine received a ton of information relating to protecting your
business from lawsuits.
2.Social Media
The Social Media Marketing seminar walked through, step by step, in creating a Facebook page
for your company. They discussed “best practices” when creating and maintaining a Facebook
page. During time together the class shared their experiences with social media and discussed
what has worked for them;; as well as giving them tips on how to make this tool work for you.
The class followed along as they were shown screenshots and taken through live demonstrations. By the end of the class, the participants were able to have basic knowledge of how to post
comments, tag photos, add pictures, videos and links, etc
3.Rules of Pickle Ball:
Volunteers from Rincon West demonstrated how to play Pickle Ball
and Bache Ball. A good time was had by all at the courts of Rincon.
Annette, Wendy and volunteers served as
2012 Chairman. We wish to extend to them
our sincere appreciation and thanks for all
their work and time that they spent on this
years convention.
We love you girls
AZ ARVC also wishes to thank Jeff Sims from
ARVC for his participation in the Convention
as well as his support and friendship.
Thanks Jeff
