Hysteria Project 2 Hysteria Project 2 Walkthrough 1 Hysteria Project 2 The Killer’s journal Throughout the game, you can collect pages from the Killer’s journal. There are 11 pages to collect during the game as well as a bonus page. The bonus page is only unlocked if you have collected the other 11 pages and completed the Killer’s journal. These pages are located at different locations throughout the game: N°1: Step 3 – Look around: on your right, on the metal table N°2: Step 7 -‐ First locked door: on the heater N°3: Step 9 – Moving to a hidden place: on the wall, look up and left N°4: Step 12 – Inside the dead bodies’ room: under the metal table, underneath a body N°5: Step 13 – Enter the wardrobe: inside the wardrobe, up and right N°6: Step 23 – Door in fire: in front of the door, under the bed N°7, 8: Step 27 – Inside the Lab: one under the laptop and one at the right of the laboratory chair N°9, 10, 11: Step 28 – The lasers: one at the beginning and two near the end You can have access to the journal and the unlocked pages from the main menu by clicking the journal icon on the lower left corner of the screen. 2 Hysteria Project 2 Step 1 -‐ Menus From the main menu, select: “Jouer” then “Nouvelle partie” Step 2 – The awake Watch the video sequence until you can play the “look around” mini-‐game Step 3 – See around Slide your finger on the screen to see around. You won’t be able to do anything except this. After 10 seconds the next video sequence begins. Victory conditions: wait 10 seconds Game over conditions: none 3 Hysteria Project 2 Step 4 -‐ Lisa Watch the video sequence until play begins. Step 5 – Try to escape Slide your finger on the screen to see around. You have to click on your arm to escape and move to the next sequence. If you wait too long the killer will enter the room and you lose. Victory conditions: click on your arm to escape Game over conditions: wait too long to escape Step 6 – Move in the corridor Watch the video sequence until you arrive at the end of the corridor, standing in front of the locked door. 4 Hysteria Project 2 Step 7 – First locked door You have to slide your finger and the screen to see around. Click on your right arm. You can see a close-‐up of your arm. You have to move your sleeve by sliding your finger and the screen to reveal a code. Click on the screen to come back to the 360° environment. Click on the digital keyboard next to the door. Use the code you found on your arm: 6F2B7G7G5E or 3C1A5E2B1A or 4D1A6F4D2B or 1A5E8H2B3C or 6F1A3C2B7G Victory conditions: find the code under your sleeve (right arm). Use the code to unlock the door Game over conditions: none Step 8 – Falling You have to avoid falling and try to follow Lisa (the scientist). You need to slide your finger on the screen in the opposite direction to compensate to avoid falling. Victory conditions: compensate for falling until the next sequence Game over conditions: fail to compensate for falling 5 Hysteria Project 2 Step 9 – Moving to a hide place Watch the video sequence until you can play the “hide from the killer” sequence. Step 10 – Hide from the killer You can hide you from the killer by sliding your finger from left to right. You have to click on the door when the killer is not in the corridor or is in the room on the right. Victory conditions: click on the door of the right room when the killer is not in the corridor or this room Game over conditions: not hiding well enough from the killer or go the right room if the killer is in the room or corridor Step 11 – Enter into the dead bodies’ room Watch the video sequence until you arrive in the next room. 6 Hysteria Project 2 Step 12 – Inside the dead bodies’ room You’re now in the dead bodies’ room. You can slide your finger on the screen to see around. You have to click on the wardrobe. Victory conditions: click on the wardrobe Game over conditions: wait too long (timed sequence) or click on the body bag Step 13 – Enter into the wardrobe Watch the video sequence until you enter in the wardrobe and can play the “hide from the killer” mini-‐game. Step 14 – Hide from the killer You have to hide yourself from the killer by sliding the wardrobe’s door with your finger. Just wait until the killer has left the room. Victory conditions: keep the doors opened enough and wait for the killer to leave the room Game over conditions: open the doors too much or close the doors too much 7 Hysteria Project 2 Step 15 – Find the communicator You have to find a communication device. Slide your finger on the screen to look around (360°). Victory conditions: click on body bag on the table Game over conditions: click on the door to exit Step 16 – Open the body bag Open the body bag by sliding the zipper with your finger. Victory conditions: open the body bag Game over conditions: none Step 17 – Find the communicator Watch the video sequence until you can play the “tune the communicator” mini-‐game. 8 Hysteria Project 2 Step 18 – Tune the communicator You have to find a good frequency to communicate with Lisa. Slide your finger on the wheel to change the frequency Victory conditions: change the frequency until the green led is displayed Game over conditions: none. The red led indicates a bad frequency. An orange led indicates you are close to the good frequency. Step 19 – Exit the dead bodies’ room Look around the scene to find the door. Then click on the door with your finger. Victory conditions: click on the door Game over conditions: none Step 20 – Fight against the killer When you see the killer trying to kill you with his axe, click on the icon displaying on the screen. 9 Hysteria Project 2 Victory conditions: click on icon until the fight is over Game over conditions: miss an icon Step 21 – Escape from the killer Watch the video sequence until you arrive at a door blocked by fire. Step 22 – Asphyxia Once again you have to avoid falling. You need to slide your finger on the screen in the opposite direction to compensate. Victory conditions: compensate to prevent falling until the next sequence Game over conditions: falling Step 23 – Door on fire You’re now blocked by a door on fire and you have to find something to go through. Slide your finger on the screen to look around and find the blanket. 10 Hysteria Project 2 Several interactions are possible in this 360 scene: -‐ Door on the left: if you touch it the hero tries to open it and burns himself because of the heat (video sequence). -‐ Fire extinguisher: if you touch it, the hero tries to stop the fire with the fire extinguisher (video sequence). -‐ Double door: if you touch it, the hero tries to go through and dies because of the fire. -‐ Red box on the wall, right to the double door: if you touch it the hero breaks the box with their hand (video sequence). -‐ Blanket on the bed: if you touch it, the hero uses the blanket and the bed to break the door and go through the fire. Victory conditions: use the fire extinguisher, then the blanket on the bed Game over conditions: try to go through the double door without using the fire extinguisher and the blanket on the bed Step 24 – Go through the door Watch the video sequence until you can play the “Inside the fire” mini-‐game. Step 25 – Inside the fire You are now in the middle of a huge fire. You have to avoid the obstacles coming all along the corridor by clicking on the icons appearing on the screen. Victory conditions: click on the icons appearing on the screen Game over conditions: missing an icon Step 26 – The killer is coming 11 Hysteria Project 2 You’re front of a digital keyboard. You have to enter the codes dictated by Lisa’s voice through the communicator: 1V7C5R5E26, 118C54, 1178C54ER7, N1STRYN00B As Lisa is trying to give you the code, the killer is closing in. To enter the code, just click on the numbers with your finger. Victory conditions: enter the code dictated by Lisa’s voice Game over conditions: not entering the code fast enough or wrong code entered Step 27 – Inside the Lab 1 You’re now in the Lab but you can rest for the moment. You can slide your finger on the screen to explore the 360° scene. First, you have to click on the trash. You will find pieces of a photo you have to reorder to find a password (the name of the dog written on the necklace): Atome / Duke / Murphy / Smopy / Toby / Tucker. When you have this password, click on the computer to access it and enter the password you found previously. Now, you can access to the documents on the computer. As soon as you exit the computer, the alarm goes off. Now you have a limited time to escape. Click on the security case near the door. The security case is locked. The only way to go on is to break it by clicking it with your finger. When you break the top cover, you can access to the second part and see a circuit. You have to do a short circuit by destroying each pin when the electricity is gone. To do this, just click on a pin with your finger. Victory conditions: find the password in the photo by reordering the different pieces. Use the password to access to the computer. Break the security case then do a short-‐circuit. Game over conditions: do not succeed to escape the lab in X seconds once the alarm starts. Possible interactions: 12 Hysteria Project 2 Microscope 01: Click on the microscope to see some cells (video sequence) Microscope 02: Click on the microscope to see some corrupted cells (video sequence) Big TV screen: Click on the big TV screen to see the same video as in microscope 1 (video sequence) Security cameras: Click on the screen at the upper right of the laptop to see the security cameras (video sequence) Tracking map: Click on the laptop to see a map showing tracked subjects Voice recorder: 13 Hysteria Project 2 Click on the voice recorder to hear an audio report of a past experience (audio sequence) Oscillograph: Click on the oscillograph to see an animated curve (video sequence) Recorded experience: Click on the screen near to the computer to see a test of smoke transformation (video sequence) Computer: Click on the computer to enter the password. Then you can have access to several documents. Just click on an icon to open it. You can scroll and zoom into the documents by using your finger Trash: Click on the trash to find pieces of a photo and find the password of the computer 14 Hysteria Project 2 Security case : Click on the security case to access it Blood analyzer: Step 27 – Exit the Lab Watch the video sequence of the hero leaving the lab until you can play the next mini-‐game. Step 28 – The lasers Lisa asks you to stop because of danger ahead. In fact, you’re now in front of a series of lasers and the killer is coming up behind you. You have no options and you must go forward. Avoid the lasers by sliding your finger on the screen in the desired direction.
