FEATURED EVENING PROGRAMS
Backcountry Basics
Spend a few minutes with our staff learning about a variety of
informave and fun topics, from map-reading to Leave No
Trace. Gain some new ps and tricks for traveling and being
comfortable in the woods.
Wed Feb 3 Camino de Sanago: Many Journeys, One Way
presented by Meg Holmes. Aer the 6 pm Internaonal Diner
featuring cuisine of Spain. This series is every Wed, from January to March.
Notch Snowshoe Walk
Take a walk for 1-2 hours with an AMC naturalist, looking for
animal sign, and other natural wonders. These are fairly easy
walks to local points of interest. Dress appropriately for the
weather. Snowshoes are provided. Sign up in the Visitor
Center, space is limited.
Notch Snowshoe Hike
Join an AMC naturalist guide for a 4-hour hike to some of the
more distant points in Pinkham Notch. Dress for the weather,
wear appropriate footwear, and bring a daypack with an extra
layer, water, and snacks or lunch. Snowshoes are provided.
Sign up in the Visitor Center, space is limited.
Notch Talks
Got a minute? Get a “snap shot” of the wonders of the
outdoors through one of our hands-on, informal presentaons.
Stop by the lobby of the Visitor Center at any me within the
hour to chat and discover something new.
Ski Tours at Great Glen Trails
Join an AMC Guide every Sunday at 10:30 am for a naturalist
ski tour. Trail pass required.
Fireside Social in the Living Room
Complimentary snacks and good company in the Lodge Living
room on Saturdays from 5-6 pm, and every night during
vacaon week.
