Page 1 of 3 Paying Forward Animal Help Alliance, a 501(c)3 nonprofit incorporated in the State of Nevada, has a multifaceted mission. Each facet is as important as the next when it comes to helping animals. First, Animal Help Alliance promotes adoption, foster, and rescue for animals in our local kill facilities. Members of Animal Help Alliance closely monitor the lists of animals at the kill facilities in order to identify those that have been there the longest. This leads to the second facet of the mission: funds are raised for the rescue and rehabilitation of animals in imminent danger of euthanasia. And the third facet, but certainly not least, owner support is provided to keep animals from losing their homes and entering the shelters in the first place. The organization works to help in the rescue of all animals but especially dogs, cats, rabbits and birds. Funds raised for Animal Help Alliance go 100% towards the life saving efforts and cover things such as veterinary costs and for boarding when foster homes cannot be found for animals in danger. To find out more information about Animal Help Alliance, go to www.AnimalHelpAlliance.org. At our September luncheon, we raised $2350 from raffles, $615 in cash plus food and school supplies for Street Teens!!! The November luncheon will be held in the Anthem Ballroom because it will be the Annual Business Meeting and Member Appreciation Luncheon. Elections will be held and the 2016 Budget will need to be approved. There are still openings on the Board and that is sad. The Women’s Club has done so much good and has been so much fun but the good cannot continue without people to make it happen. We hear criticisms and we hear praise but there are probably many other things that we could be doing but haven’t thought of. YOU can help make the club a continued success. Please consider running for the Board or serving on a committee. FUTURE EVENTS October 26th, Mob Museum. Details will be coming out with sign up instructions soon!
