Saturday July 26 2014
We are currently laying out our community center to include places for
local artists to show their art. Our community center offers a supportive
environment for people who are recovering from trauma and would like
to display art done by participants of our services, as well as other local
artists during the Ramble and beyond!

Time after time, as the Cyndi Lauper song goes, the Ramble
Board has conspired to conjure up this celebration of community
and creativity in the Old North End. Beginning with Heather
Driscoll and Lee Anderson’s hatching the first Ramble waaay
back in 2004 (when you were just a gleam), The Ramble has
taken flight as a full-fledged phenomenon.

e. Voting Rights for New Residents
A Discussion with Infinite “Participation in local elections among residents
who are ‘non-citizens’ has been a topic of debate in Burlington for almost
a decade now, since a local group Vermont Immigrant Voting Alliance
(VIVA) raised the issue publicly. Please join us in this effort to send a clear
message to all residents of our community that they are 100% welcomed
here, by supporting them to participate fully in our democracy.”
