Talk and Train
on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender people and Sexual Diversity
Is this a talk or a training course?
Both. Trainers from ICS will have a talk on
basic knowledge of gay, lesbian, bisexual
and transgender (LGBT) people and sexual
diversity. The audience can share their
thoughts and experiences in periods of
discussion and role-playing games.
Why should we care?
For those who have not addressed the
issue before, the link between creating a
supportive environment for LGBT
employees and corporate performance
may not be an obvious one. But when one
considers the stress or effort involved in
concealing one’s true identity and the
resulting impact this may have on one’s
effectiveness in the workplace, the
connection becomes more obvious.

Who are the organizers?
This talk and training will be co-hosted by
ICS and your company. ICS is an
organization for and by LGBT people in
Vietnam. ICS envisions Vietnam as a
nation where sexual minorities are treated
equally and where everyone can live as
who they are and are able to contribute
their best to the development of society.
Who can participate?
Staff members, managers, investors, etc.:
Every person in your company and
organization, regardless of sexual
orientation, gender identity or level of
LGBT awareness.

How is the program?

ROLE-PLAY: Educational role-playing
games and activities that help
participants to be in LGBT people’s
shoes, have an overview of their normal
lives, relationships, and inequalities.
Q&A: Sharing thoughts, dispel myths,
correct misunderstandings about
LGBT issues.
STORIES: Meet the guests who are
parts of LGBT communities and their
allies. An opportunity to understand
their difficulties and needs for services
and consultation.
