NEW HOME NEWS
MONSIGNOR MAKES A
CHAMPION RECOVERY
Monsignor, the face of HEROS, suffered a serious
bout of colic at the end of July – although he gave
us quite a scare, the strength of character and
stamina he showed in his racing career was a huge
help in his recovery.
PLEASE DONATE NOW
to Monsignor’s recovery fund: text MONS01
(MONS zero one) and the amount you wish to
donate to 70070 or visit justgiving.com/HEROS/

MEET THE RACEHORSE
Monsignor’s
work as
QIPCO’s
‘Meet the
Racehorse’ is
invaluable in
spreading the
word to the
racing public
about the work HEROS does to
retrain and rehome ex-racehorses.
During 2012 he got patriotic and
met some interesting (and tall)
punters at the 2012 Derby (top).
He proved a hit with young and old
at Newbury (above) and Haydock
(right), where Racing For Change
‘posed’ Mon in a racing saddle with
one of their patriotic saddle cloths.
