Despite the change of name, you can rest assured that the same commitment to providing the
very best, life-changing cultural experiences remains, provided through our unique levels of
personal service. The same team of travel experts is here in the UK to help you organise your

This commitment has been strengthened further by our membership of the Schools Travel
Forum which means that we are audited every year by independent experts to ensure we
understand and facilitate the needs of educational travel, have effective Safety Management
Systems in place specifically focused on travelling with young students, and offer fair terms
and conditions and the best financial security.
Geography
Geography is the study of the Earth and its lands, features, inhabitants, and phenomena.
In a very real sense, all of our worldwide tour programmes encompass geographical studies
because the subject is highly interdisciplinary. Geography affects a variety of factors such as
economics, health, climate, plants, and animals.
Specific geographical programmes to spectacular worldwide destinations are among the most
popular of our tours. Modern geography is an all-encompassing discipline that foremost
seeks to understand the Earth and all of its human and natural complexities. For the student
on tour, the understanding of the dynamics of cultures, societies, and economies and the
understanding of the dynamics of physical landscapes and environmental processes becomes a
fascinating reality, rather than an abstract concept.
The itineraries shown are examples of what we can provide. We specialise in creating custom
tours to meet your needs. Contact us to start planning your custom itinerary today:

Iceland
Morocco
Iceland has always been regarded as a geographer’s paradise. It is a destination that has many natural treasures,
with the greatest stunning scenery anywhere in the world, ranging from cascading waterfalls, to the giant geysers,
the natural hot springs, huge glaciers, great canyons, and green fields. It is a land where nature is unspoiled and its
beauty will take your breath away.
Morocco is mesmerising and magical. Experience the grandeur of the vast Sahara as you rock with the gentle
movements of your camel. See groves of date palms, olives, and grapes in the cedar forests of the Atlas Mountains.
Sample the circus atmosphere of the crowded Arab souks as you bargain with locals over leather goods or carpets.

Travelling to such special ecosystems facilitates study for curious students who are
fascinated by examining the structure, function, growth, origin, evolution, distribution, and
classification of all living things. Being on location helps students gain a better understanding
of science through practical skills that can be carried out on tour to explore topics further.
Field trips will include guided walks and discussions about the specialised disciplines of
biology: botany, zoology, and microbiology.

Custom Design
Your Own Itinerary –
Anywhere in the World!
Each school has its own unique aspirations and requirements.
Our reputation for excellence is based on our ability to provide
unique customised tours that are carefully planned to meet the
specific requirements of individual teachers.
We will operate a custom-designed touring programme for
your school with as few as 10 participants, although we can
also handle groups in excess of 200. Working closely with
one of our Tour Coordinators, you can develop a tour which
includes the ideal content for your group.
Flights
WorldStrides International Discovery has both the buying
power and expertise to provide the best flight routings at the
best rates. We use scheduled airlines and normally have a block
of seats in place for your group before you book with us.
Comfortable Coaches
Our modern touring coaches are spacious with wellupholstered, comfortable seats with wide windows to give
our clients the best views of the passing landscapes, and a
professional driver behind the wheel. For smaller groups and
on safari tours, we use maxi-vans, minibuses, or 4x4 vehicles.
Knowledgeable Guide
Our groups are escorted by an experienced tour guide, unless
otherwise requested or noted. They will be fluent in English
and the local language and provide a high degree of personal
attention and service to each group.
Quality Hotel
A country’s culture is often best represented by its own
unique accommodation: nature reserves in Africa, log cabins
in Scandinavia, rainforest lodges in South America. Wherever
and whenever possible, we aim to capture the essence of a
country’s charm and character by using accommodations that
typify these traditions.
Restaurant
Dining out and sampling local specialities should be one of the
cultural highlights of any tour and we like to offer our clients
a fine taste of the local cuisine. The restaurants that we select
will serve authentic and traditional meals representing each
country’s typical menu.
Excursions & Admission
We generally include up front not only comprehensive daily
excursions, but also all expensive admission charges.
Evening Entertainment
We can incorporate visits to all the major scenic, cultural,
historic and general sightseeing attractions as well as offering
behind-the-scenes tours, theatre, concert, and sporting tickets.

Group Leader Information
Getting Your Quote
If you wish to receive a quotation for a tour programme,
contact our sales office on our free phone number 0800
093 0810. To ensure your query is handled promptly,
please ensure you provide us with the following
information:
99 Travel dates
99 Anticipated group size
99 Academic theme
99 Age of students
99 Destination or itinerary
99 Services required
99 Standard of accommodation
99 Free place ratio
Once we have this information, we will prepare a tailormade itinerary and individual quotation which will
list the various services included and give a price for
different sized groups or free place ratios.
Airport Taxes & Fuel Surcharges
Airlines can impose additional fuel surcharges at any time
prior to ticketing and your quote will show the current level
of these charges. This will include UK Air Passenger Duty
(APD) as well as airport service charges. These taxes and
fuel surcharges are constantly changing and if there is any
difference in the figures at the time of your final invoice, you
will be charged for the additional amount or receive a credit.
Year Groups Taught: ________________________
Subject Taught:______________________________
Your Free Staff Places
We offer a completely flexible free place ratio. On our normal worldwide
tours, we offer 1 free place for every 8 students, but this can be
varied according to your own requirements. Normally the minimum
requirement will be 1 free place for every 10 members, but we will
structure the arrangements according to your individual specification.
Understand Our Price Range
In certain destinations, there can be significant differences in pricing
between low and high season travel in respect of both land costs and
airfares. Group size and free place ratio are also factors in the final price
as are, of course, the range of services provided.
The prices shown on the itinerary pages will reflect costs for a typical
group size of 30 students travelling in low season. For your school trip,
we will prepare a personalised quotation listing the services provided
according to your preference and a price guide for different sized groups.
How to Book
Once you have accepted our quote and your tour has been promoted
to the students, a booking form will be sent to you for completion.
The group leader should complete and return this to our sales office,
together with the initial deposit. We require a deposit representing 10%
of the tour price for each paying member in order to confirm flight and
hotel reservations and pay deposits to other suppliers. A second 10%
deposit will be due 60 days after making the booking.
When the initial deposit and booking form have been received, we
will forward the group leader an invoice with details of the balance
outstanding and payment schedule. Final payment is due 90 days
before departure.
Health and Safety
We take health and safety very seriously and go through a rigorous
process of checks and safeguards in conjunction with our local travel
partners. All hotels, coach companies, airlines, and other facilities will
be obliged to meet local licensing and safety standards, and while these
do not always match standards in the UK, we never sacrifice safety for
cost savings.
