Introduction
CCTV cameras used for process monitoring in high-temperature areas must be
especially suitable for difficult and special requirements in such production
sectors. Different fields of application in the steel, glass and cement industries
require rugged, vibration and shock-resistant cameras that are capable of
withstanding continuous operation without any problem, and that are
sufficiently sensitive to pick up high-resolution colour video images in detail.
Since 1968, PIEPER have been designing, building and installing
furnace chamber video cameras for the above fields of application and
special applications.
The present brochure will provide you with a summary of PIEPER's furnace
chamber series FK-CF-PTZ-3623 and FK-CF-1024 colour CCTV cameras.

General description
There are different furnace chamber colour CCTV cameras available (series FK-CF-PTZ-3612 and FK-CF1024), characterized by a number of technical features and special designs. The high-resolution cameras
are, in part, based an digital signal processing (DSP), provide different types of synchronization and are
built into probe camera SIG type protecting housings. The probe camera SIG type protecting housings are
designed in 1-cable-technology, and provided with one single 10-pin MIL standard connector an their rear
side. The series FK-CF-PTZ-3612 and FK-CF-1024 cameras have been especially designed for use in furnace
chambers and high-temperature areas of any kind. Owing to their high quality, they are ideally suitable for
furnace chamber viewing where excellent colour rendering in extreme light conditions are of paramount importance. Special features of the FK-CF-PTZ-3612 type HighTec furnace chamber cameras are
among other thinks:
