Welcome to Epta Foodcities “Perfect food display, Food Safety and Energy Savings”: thanks to their highly evolved technologies, Eurocryor, Misa and Iarp create the “perfect environments for well-preserved foods”. This concept, which Professionals in the trade received a preview of at Host 2015, demonstrates the desire to transform bars, restaurants and hotels into venues for socializing and discovering new experiences. At the same time they must ensure respect for the environment while maintaining the highest levels of food safety. This strategic approach has been brought to life in the three exclusive Foodcities: Misa the city of perfect food preservation, Eurocryor the city of 3 ideal presentation and Iarp, for successful merchandising. These stunning environments have been conceived to showcase the particular features of the new models presented during the event. Raw Food Corner, ever closer to nature The Epta stand, a harmonious display which rolls a Nordic city street, a hypothetical Fifth Avenue and a merchandising area reminiscent of Times Square into one, while at its heart stands the original RawFood Corner. It is a gem conceived to stage enthralling cooking demonstartions inside hotels, restaurants and retail locations. Raw foodism encourages consumption of uncooked food and this trend is gaining popularity throughout Europe. Nutritionists have confirmed it is excellent for health and well-being as the sensory characteristics, vitamins, enzymes and minerals which are lost during cooking are preserved intact. A perfect example of “retail entertainment”, the RawFood Corner is a powerful tool for stimulating business and creating unique locations where design, setting and atmosphere help heighten the customer experience. When the kitchen is a theatre A complete solution produced by Eurocryor, Misa and Iarp which responds to the tastes of the public and new lifestyle and consumer styles. The RawFood Corner is a fully-equipped mini-kitchen transformed into a miniature theatre, where the counter is the stage and the chef performs by preparing and explaining mouth-watering raw food recipes, whilst the audience watches and is involved in the tasting session. Raw Food is preserved by our experience: Taste it! The traditional Eurocryor Bistrot and Torre cabinets, Iarp negative temperature VIC 150 and EIS 45.3 cabinets, and the Misa KLM cold room, fully glazed and equipped with the new Epta Food Defence anti-bacterial system, have all been rolled into one in the RawFood Corner, to guarantee the ingredients and preparations typically used in raw foodism are preserved to perfection. They are designed to present every dish in a way that is unique and eye-catching: from the finest cuts of meat to choice regional cheeses, from brioches straight out of the oven to refined chocolates and handmade ice-creams. EUROCRYOR: THE CITY OF EXCELLENT FOOD DISPLAY Panorama 2.0, dedicated cabinets for sweet creations Within the City of Excellent Food Display, the new version of the Panorama for patisserie products stands out. The Panorama sees a new look and features a design that is modern and minimal with clean lines, bright elements and special transparent effects, in keeping with the latest trends in furnishing shops and commercial premises. Exclusive glazing... The Panorama features two particular characteristics: LED lighting built into the glass and trolley guard, and the innovative opening system. The first 6 helps ensure the appearance of this cabinet is refined, whilst the second allows each section of the front glass to be lowered, making it easy for sales staff to load and clean the cabinet. ... and sophisticated materials The Dekton Panorama cabinet makes for heightened freshness and a clean, sober appearance: the revolutionary work surface is made using special combinations of raw materials to ensure the glass, ceramic or quartz surfaces offer unbeatable resistance. Eurocryor launches on a preview basis at Host 2015 a new International Innovative technology for ultra-creamy icefree gelato design pending & Italian patent pending technology for ice-cream manufacturers. In particular, the brand has developed an exclusive system applied to a special version of the Panorama to create an ice-cream display cabinet with mixing bowls that ensure the product is preserved properly, whilst providing a more modern appeal to the area. A surprising design with small refrigerated displays in the front of the cabinet making it stand out, so Customers can see the wide range of flavours on offer. A system combined with highly attractive furnishings that also maximise sales, as the ice-cream can be kept inside the cabinet for a longer time. Panorama Chocolate Tower e Ventilated Gourmet Every chocolate culinary creation demands the best possible presentation: for this reason Eurocryor has developed the Chocolate Tower. Featuring three completely transparent shelves with LED lighting, the tower is installed on the horizontal Panorama cabinet. Equipped with a ventilated section with a temperature regulator (18°-26° C), which guarantees humidity values of 50%, it has been purposely designed to preserve chocolate delicacies of every type, including ice-cream desserts, to perfection. Last of all, the Ventilated Gourmet version is also worth noting. This horizontal cabinet with raised shelves is perfect for displaying mignon pastries. 7 Gondola is the new refrigerated Gondola: the new display solution for buffets display solution designed by Eurocryor for restaurant buffets and dining rooms used for breakfast and lunch in hotels. This unit features a high degree of transparency and mirror effects that help attract the attention of Consumers, whilst highlighting the superior quality of the fresh products on display, such as yogurts, fruit salads, deli meats, cheeses, sandwiches or drinks for lunch. 8 IARP - OVERVIEW Iarp: Plug-in and Switch-on your business! Plug-in power: this is the philosophy of Iarp, a company which specialises in designing and manufacturing cabinets with built-in units for the Hotel and Catering Trade, and for Food&Beverage multinationals. Iarp has distinguished itself through its reliability, capacity for innovation and the potential for customising the product down to finest detail. The brand produces tailor-made furnishings, also on an exclusive basis, which reflect the image of the ordering company to perfection. In keeping with a Green Philosophy geared towards achieving the utmost sustainability and respect for the environment, the new cabinets have been designed to cut emissions by 30% compared with previous models, and to slash energy consumption rates, thanks to technical improvements and the use of natural refrigerants such as Propane or Isobutane R600. 9 IARP: THE CITY OF SUCCESSFUL MERCHANDISING Relook 45, the cabinet straight out of the future One of Iarp’s solutions which best interprets the concept of “The City of Successful Merchandising” is the Realook 45. This negative temperature plug-in features an eye-catching design and offers a high degree of interactivity with an audio system and full HD 47” transparent screen which has a surprising impact on Consumers. The system is built into the glass door and is activated by proximity sensors to communicate promotions and actively involve Customers in an all-new experience. Perfect for bars, patisseries and restaurants, the Realook 45 can be customised to meet specific needs in full. High performance and cutting edge technology are also Oasi: high-tech vending machines features in the Oasi vending machine for ice-cream. This compact but extremely capacious cabinet harnesses the best refrigeration technology, combining it with an independent control panel which guarantees greater temperature control and the utmost food safety. Oasi also incorporates software that manages restocking and is fitted with a luminous display to improve interaction with consumers and increase sales. Red Bull and Iarp: a successful team Iarp has produced two of its most interesting display solutions exclusively for Red Bull, a partner of the company for the last 12 years, these solutions were also presented at Host 2015. Both provide a perfect example of Iarp’s talent for producing customised cabinets. These unique units, featuring the typical “Red Bull style”, have been designed to compliment the slim-line silhouette and bright colours of the famous energy drink. In particular, Iarp won Red Bull over with the unique design of its tailor-made options, developing an entire range of refrigerated 10 display cabinets that guarantee perfect visibility of the drinks and fit into any setting, whilst offering complete respect for the environment. Now Iarp is proposing the new version of the Gemma 30, the small ‘green’ plug-in with a rounded profile. When placed alongside loudspeakers, it encourages impulse buys. The original DJ Cooler, the compact cabinet which imitates a loudspeaker, is ideal for keeping drinks ice-cold next to DJs in pubs and clubs. The new generation VIC Green Another star of this area is Iarp’s VIC 330 AT ice-cream tub. Its strengths include the introduction of a new Isobutane R600 compressor, an electronic fan system, high-efficiency condensers and evaporators and, last but not least, a case that offers high insulation performance thanks to the new foam-injection process used to make the panels. A further plus-point offered by the VIC 330 AT is the option of teaming it with the B-ICE Top Shelf, an ingenious solution which allows the second cabinet to be placed on top of the first, exploiting all the available space whilst increasing the display ratio. 11 MISA - OVERVIEW Misa, the right choice for the utmost in food safety Unbeatable safety and optimal preservation of food: these are the distinguishing traits of Misa, a specialist in producing commerciali and industrial cold rooms for the Hotel and Catering Trade and Retail. MISA: THE CITY OF PERFECT PRESERVATION Epta Food Defence: for total protection Epta is presenting a preview of Epta Food Defence at Host 2015. This innovative anti-bacterial system for refrigerated cold rooms harnesses silver ions, and is available for all Misa’s solutions. Epta Food Defence has been designed to improve the safety of food stored in cold rooms, and is able to prevent, counteract and eliminate a number of species of bacteria, including the best-known and most dangerous types. The anti-bacterial properties are actually applied to the sheet metal used to make the Misa cold room. The result is total, round-the-clock permanent protection which lasts for the entire lifecycle of the product, seven days a week. Lastly, the protective film is suitable for contact with food substances and personal use, in compliance with the Ministerial Decree dated 21 March 1973 and subsequent amendments, as well as European Directives 78/142/EEC, 80/766/EEC, 82/711/EEC, 85/572/EEC, 90/128/EEC and 92/ EEC. 12 Amongst the solutions for perfect food Maximum flexibility with KLA preservation, the KLA range particularly stands out. This multi-purpose cabinet is available in three sizes of 1300, 2700 and 4000 litres, and has been designed to offer a second door as well as tailor-made accessories such as wire shelving and pull-out shelves. The insulation values are extremely high, helping to make this a solution which offers the Hotel and Catering trade unbeatable efficiency. KLM Corner is the latest arrival in Misa’s range of Mini Cold Rooms. The infinite configurations of KLM corner Available in nine configurations, 6 with positive temperature and 3 with negative temperature, the corner design has been conceived to optimise available space for installation in any setting. Food safety is combined with the utmost safety for staff to load and unload the coldroom, thanks to the version with non-slip flooring and a special semi-flush door with an internal release handle. KLC COMBI, a versatile and extremely modular system, makes it possible KLC COMBI: versatility and unbeatable modularity to create refrigerated environments of different sizes, combining panels in a cutting-edge isothermal material with rounded S6 and S10 corner locks on the inside and outside. This solution is available with a load bearing floor, or without a floor, with a “U”-shaped frame for mounting. Self service Cold Rooms The latest arrival is the range of glazed cabinet cold rooms for self-service sale of products stored in a temperature range of + 2° C to – 20° C. Designed to meet the needs of self-service catering and small, medium and large service stations, it features a front panel with double glazed doors, built-in lighting and thermally insulated panels. The shelves can be mounted at an angle for optimal positioning of the products and to ensure gravity helps products slide forward.
