Dear colleagues and friends,
the 69th International Stadionfest Berlin (ISTAF) will present a world-class starting field of
220 athletes in 17 disciplines. On this occasion, we would like to invite you to our official,
international ISTAF Berlin press conference.
Gerhard Janetzky, Managing Director of the ISTAF Berlin, will inform about the
competitions’ highlights and this year’s program. Managing Director Martin Seeber will
talk about the last preparations for the event. South African 800-metres world champion
Caster Semenya, Australians Olympic Gold medalist and world champion 2009 Steven
Hooker (pole vault), two-times world champion from 2007 Bernard Lagat (1500 and 5000
m), European champion 2010 Linda Stahl (javelin throw) and European vice-champion
2010 Carsten Schlangen (1500 m) are invited to talk about their personal expectations
and goals for their starts at the ISTAF 2010.
The press conference will take place in Room A, 1st floor in the Official Meeting Hotel,
Hotel Estrel, Sonnenallee 225, 12057 Berlin.
