It turns out that living in a swing state Virginia in my case - makes you very popular around election time, so popular in fact that my phone was ringing non-stop and someone was always knocking on my door telling me who I needed to vote for. Regardless of who you supported in the election, there is little doubt that the results will affect the delivery of health care in our country. With President Soy and breast cancer research update, botanical strategies for autoimmune thyroid diseases, vitamin D and risk of acute respiratory infections, and more in the November issue of the Natural Medicine Journal! Obama's victory, the possibility that we'll see a repeal of the health care reform law has disappeared. Read more NEWS FROM THE OFFICE 2013 AANP Conference Blog: Colorado Att(Alt)itude Jacob Schor, ND, FABNO, AANP Conference Speaker Selection Committee Chair, explains the Coloradan attitude, altitude and culture. The naturopathic physicians in Colorado are looking forward to hosting you in their home state July 2013. First off, it is really all about altitude. Denver is, literally, a mile-high city. Halfway up the staircase that leads to the Capitol Building is an elevation marker: 5,280 feet above sea level.
