E-Brochure - The Royal Crescent Hotel
The iconic hotel in Bath’s most famous address
The Roman Baths
The Historic
city of Bath
& The Royal
Crescent Hotel
Welcome to the sophisticated tranquillity of
the luxurious Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa.
Located in the centre of arguably the world’s
finest crescent, our Hotel is a world unto
itself. It combines the most elegant 18th
Century architectural detail with modern
attention to detail, service and technology.
This is the ideal historic city centre retreat.
Step outside into the stunning World
Heritage City of Bath, with the harmonious
architectural wonders of the Circus a mere
three minutes away. Step inside into a haven
of charming beauty, of an acre’s garden oasis,
of one of the world’s very finest hotels…
A Warm
Welcome
From our Concierge who greets you at
the door and valet parks your car, a warm
welcome at The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa
is assured.
Each and every member of our team is
dedicated to providing our guests with
a personalised service. We endeavour
to exceed our customers’ expectations
throughout your stay with us. We look
forward to welcoming you to this iconic
hotel in the heart of Bath.
The Drawing
Room and
Library
Our Drawing Room and Library are the
perfect rooms in which to relax in elegant
surroundings. These timelessly-elegant
rooms have high ceilings, open fires and
wonderful views overlooking either the
Royal Crescent itself or our magnificent
one acre of gardens. Just imagine an hour
or two in a perfect retreat where guests
indulge in Afternoon Tea or partake of a
glass of wine…
Suites
& Rooms
Our forty five individually-designed
Guestrooms and Suites blend elegant
Georgian architecture with refined
interior décor, befitting this most
impressive address.
Our magnificent selection of eighteen
suites includes three Master Suites which
boast outstanding views. All of our rooms
combine graceful old world heritage with
stunning new world luxury.
The Dower
House
Restaurant
Overlooking the secluded hotel gardens,
The Dower House Restaurant offers fine
cuisine throughout the year, both to hotel
guests and non-residents. When the
weather is fine, the sunny terrace and lawns
are the unmissable setting for idyllic
al fresco dining.
In the evening, dimmed lights and candles
create a soft, elegant ambience in which to
enjoy the array of flavours and textures on
the à la carte and Tasting menus.
The Montagu Bar & Champagne Lounge
Relaxed yet sophisticated, The Montagu bar is the ideal backdrop whatever the occasion. Pre-dinner drinks, a glass of champagne or
cocktails with friends, The Montagu is open both to residents and non-residents alike. Serving nibbles, light bites and more substantial dishes
throughout the day, the ambience of this luxurious, contemporary bar perfectly complements its more traditional setting.
The Gardens
From the outside you may be forgiven for thinking that The Royal Crescent Hotel is simply the townhouse of 16 The Royal Crescent.
Not only does the hotel also comprise House Number 15 and five converted Coach Houses, it also boasts an acre of leafy and secluded
gardens. Arguably one of the world’s most beautifully-packaged secrets, the gardens are a tranquil contrast to the city of Bath itself.
They create a most agreeable outlook for the hotel guestrooms and public spaces, a wonderful setting in which to enjoy Afternoon Tea.
Afternoon Tea
Afternoon Tea at The Royal Crescent is
as much a tradition as Tea at The Ritz.
Offering a choice of three afternoon teas
as well as a Champagne Afternoon Tea, this
is an experience not to be missed whether
a guest of the hotel or a visitor to the city
of Bath. Our Pastry Chef has created a
range of delights to satisfy even the most
well-travelled of palates.
The Spa &
Bath House
Nestled at the edge of the secluded
gardens behind the Crescent façade, The
Spa & Bath House offers an escape to
peace and tranquillity. This holistic haven in
the heart of The Royal Crescent combines
fine architecture enhanced by the use
of natural woods with bamboo and slate.
We embrace both ancient and modern
spa cultures using an extensive range of
therapies.
This renowned Spa provides those seeking
to relax and unwind a truly memorable
experience both within The Spa & Bath
House and outside in the beautifully
landscaped Taittinger Spa Garden. This
private garden is exclusive to Spa guests
to use for their complete relaxation and
is where The Spa Garden Menu can be
enjoyed, offering both indulgent and
healthy food options. Find time and space
to soothe your mind, body and spirit.
