SPONSORS AND SUPPORTERS
The 20th ORCHEM conference aims at encompassing all aspects of organic chemistry and
therefore constitutes one of the most important organic chemistry conferences in Germany for
academics, industrial chemists, and students. It takes place in Weimar for the fifth time in 2016.
Bayer Pharma Aktiengesellschaft
Leverkusen
As scientific progress thrives on personal discussions and interactions, ORCHEM is the ideal
conference for young researchers to mingle with internationally renowned scientists from Germany and abroad. Consequently, an important feature of the ORCHEM program are two poster
sessions where young researchers can present their latest results.
DFG – Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft
Bonn
Additionally, the best poster abstracts will be presented as flash talks in the main auditorium.
Sanofi-Aventis Deutschland GmbH
Frankfurt am Main
The ORCHEM 2016 lectures will cover the following areas:
• Synthesis
• Catalysis
Symrise AG
Holzminden
• Methodology
• Reactivity
Thieme Chemistry
Stuttgart
There will also be an evening lecture on September 5, 2016, in the context of
“Chemistry and Music”.
