cutting or grinding. This jacket is to be used
on shipyards, tug-boats, buoy laying vessels,
during constructional works, emergency management, and for search and rescue services.

Cosalt personnel recovery device
(CPRD) Ein Mensch-Über-Bord Rettungssystem, ergonomisch gestaltet, um eine bewusstlose oder bewegungsunfähige Person
aus dem Wasser zu bergen. Die Rettung
wird in horizontaler Lage ausgeführt, um
weitere Verletzungen der zu bergenden Person sowie der Rettungskräfte zu vermeiden.
Verfügbar in verschiedenen Größen, passend
für jeden Einsatzort und -fahrzeug. Das CPRD
besteht aus hochstabilen Kunststoffsprossen
und Stahlverbindern und ist mit EdelstahlKarabinerhaken ausgerüstet. Am CPRD befestigte Hebestropps und Führungsleinen vereinfachen die Bedienung im Notfall.
Das FRC Kit ist in zwei Größen erhältlich und
speziell für Fast Rescue Crafts konstruiert.
Das Kit wird in einer robusten, warnfarbenen
Tasche geliefert. Es ist klein genug, um gut
an Bord gestaut zu werden. Im CPRD FRC
Kit sind Hypalon-D-Ring-Besätze zur Befestigung am Schlauchboot enthalten.
Das CPRD ist auch in einer Version als Rescue
Stretcher (Rettungstransporthängematte)
lieferbar, zur Benutzung mit einem Flaschenzug oder einem Davit. Es kann in Verbindung
mit einem Rettungsschwimmer benutzt
werden und ist in zwei Größen lieferbar.
Große Versionen des CPRD können als Kletternetz benutzt werden, sowohl seitlich am
Schiff als auch bei anderen Bergungsaktionen.
Das CPRD kann ebenso in Fällen eingesetzt
werden, in denen sich die verunfallte Person
selbst aus dem Wasser retten kann (z.B.
Schleusenunfälle, Unfälle im Hafenbecken).
Das CPRD System ist geeignet zur Verwendung auf Schleppfahrzeugen, Bereitschaftsbooten, Kreuzfahrt- und Fährschiffen, aber
auch auf Marine-, Polizei- oder Feuerwehrschiffen, Wasserrettungsfahrzeugen und in vielen
Landbereichen, wo es um die Bergung und
Rettung von Personen aus Gewässern geht.
Das Wartungsintervall des CPRD beträgt drei
Jahre. Wartungsmöglichkeiten bestehen im
gesamten internationalen Cosalt-Netzwerk.
(CPRD) A MOB Man over Board retrieval device, ergonomically designed to assist in the
retrieval of conscious and unconscious casualties from the water. Retrieval can be made
horizontally without risking further injury to
the casualty, or to the rescuer.
Available in a variety of sizes each CPRD is
tailored to suit the individual needs of the
application it will be used from.
The CPRD is constructed from high density plastic rungs and steel rods, and is fitted
with Marine Grade 316 stainless steel snap
hooks. Lifting strops and heaving lines are
attached to aid with retrieval.
The FRC Kit comes in two sizes and is designed for use on Fast Rescue Craft. The kit
is supplied in a robust high-viz valise and is
compact enough to be stowed in the craft.
The CPRD FRC Kit comes complete with
hypalon patch fixing kits to attach it to either
side of the craft.
The CPRD is available in a Rescue Stretcher
configuration, for use with block and tackle
or david arrangements. The Rescue Stretcher can be used in conjunction with a rescue
swimmer and is also available in two sizes.
Larger sizes of the CPRD can be used as a
scrumble net on the side of a vessel and in
rescue zones. The CPRD can also be used for
other applications where casualties are in a
position to recover themselves from the
water such as canal locks and dock walls.
The CPRD system is suitable for use by Tug
Boat operators, Standby vessels, Cruise and
Ferry operators, MOD establishments, and
Coastguard and Rescue organisations, along
with many of other applications.
The servicing regime for the CPRD is even
three years. This facility is available throughout the COSALT International Network.
