The real beauty behind the shotgun is the use of the patented barrel system that reduces felt recoil allowing the hunter the ability to carry the 12 gauge in the field without the worry of a bruised shoulder after a day of shooting. The barrel is drilled from a solid bar of Chrome-Moly steel, and is back-bored 8 ½ inches and tapered from .74 to .724 over the entire length. This creates a shotgun with drastically reduced felt recoil, higher muzzle velocity and more uniform patterns. The MARI Hr will also be offered in 20 and 28 gauge later this year. The 12 gauge is now available at Baserri Shotguns dealers nationwide.
